Easy to install & was able to keep my (homemade) push start too (was not about to buy/pay for a new ignition switch Ford was not standing behind as many have been failing and they should have had a recall to offer a free fix this is my own opinion.So sorry back to my review. Love how you can just jumper into system with fitting connectors and without having to splice in wiring, that was a smart idea. Would buy again and suggest this to others. I did have a very minor problem but was my own fault while trying to program. I did not get the 3 bongs when turning the key because I did not have one of a connector fully seated in the steering column as soon as I did realize was not getting the "Bongs" I fully seated the connector and I got both keys programmed first attempt but before I noticed the problem I tried about 4 times so I for sure had my practice. Anyways listen for the bongs just wanted to mention so it may help another person out. Also want to point out to pay attention how you remove the panels. The lower steering column wrap around panel was giving me a problem figuring out how to re-install with the steering adjuster which goes in (through) first or while you are re-installing the panel. The lower panel below the steer column, at the very bottom of the panel it is hinged in that is after the top is pooped out the bottom swings down and the out so do not try to pop out the bottom let the top swing down a bit and then remove. I actually ordered the unit and the night before it was to come in had everything ready all the panels off and my tools lined up which were not many needed at all for this job.

This is 130% worth it!! I know literally nothing about cars… have never worked on a car, but this was the EASIEST thing to install in my 2012 Ford Escape. First try, it worked and it only took about 45 minutes to do by myself! Works perfect with my manufacturer keys. Instructions need revision and clarification but I was able to find a good YouTube video that walked me through it!

Installed this kit in a 2012 Ford Escape. With the included factory harness, was a very straight forward process. Just have to remove trim panel below steering wheel, and the shroud around the steering wheel which is held in by 3x 5.5mm bolts. Once that is done, everything is just like the description says, plug and play. Since all of the connectors on the harness are keyed, there is no guess work. They only fit where they are supposed to go. Programming was a breeze and everything worked for me the first time with no issues what so ever. You really can't beat it for the price. You could pay more for a viper or compustar kit, but those don't come with model specific harness. Really a no brainer if you're looking for functionality and ease of install. The only things I didn't like is that the instructions could be a little more clear. There was a lot of unused connectors on the harness that weren't mentioned in the instructions that made it kind of confusing to connect at first. Also, I would have liked to have an option to get a two way kit without upgrading to the smartphone module.

Very easy to install and program had a problem after programming because the company changed the way the system works it use to be push lock button on your factory key but it's been updated now it's lock unlock lock starts the car I love the new update because your not blowing horn 3 times so if you are looking for a easy quick remote start for your car the mpc remote start system is the one for you it will take you less than a half hour to install and program and buttoned up ready for use

This is awesome! I have wanted an auto start for a while but couldn't find one for the right price. The price point on this is great. My husband installed it and he said it was frustrating at different parts. All in all it took him about 3-4 hours. He is handy and good at learning from YouTube but not a car mechanic. My car starts right up when I am in the house. I just have to remember to leave my heat turned up and the wipers off. The range on it isn't very far.

I cant say enough good things about this. Absolutely a 20 minute install. If you have 2 factory keys, it's straight forward. The ODBII harness does have a clip to keep it in the original spot, but a zip tie did the trick. Buy it. You won't regret it. 2011 escape xlt.

No install instructions! You have to go to YouTube for help. You can’t talk to a tect, email only! Tect by email are you serious,! Mine broke on install. Sent it back and still haven’t received a replacement! Still can’t use it. Not happy. Will never buy this brand again! You shouldn’t unless your ready for stress.

Save your time and Money and BUY this , it works. 100% my husband installed it, it was easy to do so and it works perfectly.

The kit arrived as described. The pre-wired harness was well made. The instructions were easy to follow.This kit works well on my 2011 Ford Escape.
