This rug is incredible. Let me start off by saying I am a price shopper. I wanted a decent quality wool rug for our family room that I have just redecorated, and I couldn't find anything the size that I needed (large) for less than $3000. I found this and after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures posted by reviewers, I decided to take a chance (which I don't normally do with stuff this big that I can't see in person). Let me also say that I found almost this exact same rug at another online rug dealer selling for $3200! I couldn't believe the difference in price. I was bracing myself for a slight disappointment given the huge savings I was getting by ordering this one, and when it came I was overjoyed to discover that I liked this one better than any I had seen elsewhere! This rug is HEAVY!!! My husband and I could barely carry it inside (I ordered the 9 x 11) with just the two of us! We unrolled it and were just amazed at how beautiful it is, and how thick and lush and comfortable it is under our feet. It is truly perfect for a family room. YES, it sheds a lot just like every rug for the first few weeks, but has already slowed significantly. We are all in love with this rug and to date it is one of our favorite Amazon purchases!!!

We have had this rug for over 10 yrs (kids, dog, cat, spills) and it looked brand new. My husband and I took a mini get away and I am pretty sure the kids (teens) had some (or many) people over for a mini vacation from us...All of the sudden there was a really stinky part on the rug. One I could not get to come out. It was the worst smell. So we had to buy another one - of the exact same rug. Very subtle. Mainly gold, small pieces of subdued red and overall kind of a green cast mixed in the beige. Like camo color underlying the beige - in a good way. Very thick and extremely sturdy. We never had a run or fraying and we are on it all the time. I would highly recommend. I am the rug queen and all but this one have worn out in a short time or been peed on/barfed on/ pooped on (see above). This one has too but it is so easy to clean. I know it is wool but we cleaned it with a Bissell water and solution cleaner we have. It handled it great. Also, you cannot see the normal dirt we all bring in. Hmm, such a good review I feel like I should buy it again.

I bought this rug on another site 12 years ago. With pets and spills, etc., it was time for a change. The problem was that I couldn’t find anything I liked as much as the one I had. My daughter suggested Amazon. I was scrolling through the 1000’s of available options, and there it was! My exact same rug that I have loved over the years, and less than I paid for it the first time. I ordered it and it came quickly! Same rug, same color, same quality! I could not be happier. It’s a beautiful rug. Lush, soft, quality craftsmanship and I am, again, in love! If the colors work in your home, don’t hesitate because of the price. It’s as nice as the rugs I have paid over $1000 for.

I’m extremely happy with my rug. The wool pile is soft, yet dense. It has the look and feel of a very expensive rug, at a fraction of the cost of high-end makers. I was looking at polyester “printed” rugs, because they are so cheap. I’m glad I chose a wool rug instead. They simply don’t compare. I’m also happy with this somewhat neutral color scheme that has a classic design motif. It pulls everything together nicely.

I have returned at least five of these rugs. Two were delivered with actual mold, that caused a reaction on my arm when I opened it, the others smelled strongly of mildew. The colors are wildly different. I ordered the blue gray/ beige. The rugs I receive are yellow and green and mildewed so maybe they are discolored from mold and mildew. I only kept one rug of the many I ordered and it is perfect, A pretty ivory and blue gray as described, no odor. I got ONE that was the correct color and did not wreak of mold or mildew. I still need two more. The price I paid for 5 x 8 ranged from $130 to $134. These rugs are now 225 . I noticed a different item number on the rugs (for the exact same rug) so maybe Amazon is selling old rugs at a discounted price. One item number has a B in it and the other does not, although they are exact same rug. The return process through amazon has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Excellent rug. It is thick and beautiful. I’ve actually ordered the same rug before and after 6 years of use, it is still in great condition. It has not had excessive shedding. Doesn’t curl at the edges. Great quality.

I'm very happy with my rug purchase, love the print and colors! It's grey blue, light beige, and has some rust red color accents..those are the main ones I've noticed so far. I'm not using it with a pad since it's just going under my bed. If it were a living room rug or one I might be on the floor with, I'd probably go with a pad. Its pile is low and compact so it feels good underfoot, but thick enough that it feels like a quality rug. There are some straying threads that probably could be trimmed from around the border area for those who are bothered by such things, but it doesn't detract from the rug for me personally so I'm leaving it alone. Being that it's brand new, it's shedding a lot of fine fibers but that will go away with use and vacuuming. No complaints about the shipping/delivery.

Amazon will only deliver this outside your door and not to the room of choice. There was no option for this purchase which makes no sense as it is a very heavy item that you will need help with. The delivery was 'attempted' twice but each time the delivery drivers came, they did not ring the door bell so did not actually attempt to make the delivery. This last time worked out and the rug was delivered upstairs outside my door and I am a person with a disability and there was no help to bring it inside. This should definitely be addressed. This is an 11ft by 17ft rug. It is heavy. Amazon: you failed with providing accessibility options for better and more reasonable delivery to the room of choice for a person with a disability. I am disappointed that I had no help bringing this inside. It is not the delivery people's fault. The rug itself is a beautiful rug, soft colors, perfect size and I am very happy with the purchase. I won't be buying my other rugs from Amazon if they can't even attempt to care about people with disabilities and providing better delivery options. I hope Amazon addresses this.

I had ordered two stair runners and loved the carpet so much ordered a rug for my hall. Quick delivery and it looks amazing

It is a beautiful runner. Perfect. Higher quality than I was expecting. Very pleased. It looks exactly as it did on line.

So pleases with the rug. Very thick, colors were a little muted but I expected that. Overall quality is excellent. Did not find any holes or loose threads and the edging was solid. My only negative is that my 8x8 was about 5 inches short on one side and 4 inches on the other. Though if hand-made I should expect some imperfections but this seemed a bit much. Still works for us but would be nice to have the full 8 feet. Anyone else wanting more exact measurements way want to account for potential shortage and go up in size if you can accommodate.
