For any owners of the Cold Steel SRK San Mai iii or similar - this sheath fits the 6in blade nicely, and doesn't fall out when held point-up, even when ya jiggle it. I love this knife and have used it for years but always kinda hated the dorky tactical sheath it came with--this leather adds a really nice "old-world" touch that classes the whole thing up. Love this sheath. For the price point I was really impressed with the overall quality and sturdiness. I'm a stickler for not buying cheaper items when it comes to my kit, especially when it comes to survival gear; but this thing is solid and just fits the bill! Thanks for the excellent product and super fast shipping and for not breaking my bank lol.

Sheath is well made and sufficient for casual field carry. Retention is friction based with no retaining strap in place. Fit is good for Cold Steel Master Tanto (VG 10 San Mei) with 6” blade. All n all a good bargain for every day use.

Does not fit knives I have Will have to buy type that fit

The quality is good. It's a nice sheath .. but the measurements were not right. This does not fit my knife.

Buttons do not hold

Good sheath, but I bought it for my ka-bar tactical knife and it had no retention. Knife falls out easily. Works great with my ka-bar bk 2 which is much thicker, so I will keep it. I should have purchased a Sheath with a handle retention strap.

it fits as the description stated. im using this sheath for other reasons andi had to put my sharpening rod vertical because the attached loop is for a flint rod. im using it for my ka-bar dogs head knife, its exactly 7 inches and probability enough room for a 8 inch blade ,maybe? 7.5 inch yes it would work. this is a very useful item and completes my rig . i ordered 2 more today so yes i would recommend this sheath

This thing is AWESOME. Just got it today, and I just found a knife laying around and tried it out before I go buy a new one. It fix super snug, smells good, really tough leather. Guys, for the price its a steal! thanks for having this!! super happy customer 5 Stars!!

The knife fits well but slides out with 0 restraint. If you tip it over the knife just falls out. The leather is nice but to have it functional I have to purchase a leather strap with some buttons and sew it didn’t in. I’ll share that photo once I have it done.
