As a designer and artist, I'm absolutely thrilled with the Caran d'Ache Neocolor Pastels (40 Colors)! These vibrant, high-quality pastels have become my go-to tool for creating stunning artwork. Neocolor I crayons truly are wonderful quality. Unfortunately, Amazon shipped the tin of 40 crayons to me in a thin padded envelope, so 2 arrived broken and tin dented. But the product itself is high quality. Very smooth, some of the more pastel colors look great on darker paper too.

These pastel colors are absolutely amazing! The color is rich and vibrant. They make luscious and creamy marks on paper, yet they are clean and don't leave any unwanted residue, so you don't need to worry about smearing. These are like color crayons on steroids! These soft pastels are waxy and not chalky or powdery. So far, I have done just a bit of doodling, but I am very excited to see what I can create with these pastels. I purchased the 40 color set and the color range is broad with a good variety of hues. It even includes a Payne's grey, which I find quite useful. If you want a real delight in art supplies, I highly recommend Caran DAche Neocolor Pastels!

Happy overall but some of the tips came broken which made me very sad bc I can’t dissolve these ones with water so I’ll have to use the nubs I suppose. Other than that I love using these, they’re nice and creamy and fun to play with

These crayons are a DREAM- they are so smooth, so creamy, blend so beautifully (even without using colvents or special papers- you just color over another color and rub with your finger or a blending stump and it just dissolves into one another). They work on tons of surfaces. I really thought since I had the Neocolor IIs I had no use for these but these are so great for mark marking and work with both water-based media AND oil pastels and oil paints and color pencil. Be aware that because these are not watersoluable, there will be a resist when you work with watercolors and acrylics, but because they are creamy and NOT oily, it's a wonderful mix of elements.Tpo be honest, just coloring with them on paper is like a tactile dream come true- my only other experience with wax crayons is kids crayons, and these are completely different. They just glide across paper. I love them. I wish they came in a zillion colors.

I was worried about ordering these based on the reviews stating that tips were broken, but these arrived in perfect condition! So glad I took a chance.

Usei e gostei . Só não gostei de ter comprado com a nova caixa vermelha e terem me mandado antiga . Comprei meus uns Inktense block da Derwent no AliExpress o vendedor se comunicou comigo que a caixa era diferente do anúncio e era a mais nova . Assim um vendedor bom faz , deveria ter me consultado e outra coisa vi que subiu no anúncio mais de 200 reais e deve ter sido por isso , só que deveria ter sido mais honesto e ter me contactado . Todos tem meu telefone

You cannot go wrong with this brand. The crayons are gorgeous, smooth, blend really well and just overall amazing for mixed media art. Love. Love. Love!

There is nothing that can compare with this, and I love them for colouring. They can also be sharpened for colouring smaller details, however, you can also combine this with the Posca Pencils for the details, and these Posca Pencils even work on top of them. Beautiful product and fun to work with.

Me ha gustado lo finas que son, sobre todo las Neocolor I. Las Neocolor II son mucho más pastosas, tipo ceras al aceite. Tienen muchísimo pigmento y se mezclan con mucha facilidad.
