Will Crawl Under Your Skin
I loved the book and I loved the HBO adaptation. It was very similar to the book with added details and storylines. The story is slow, brooding, and full of dread which doesn't stop even after the credits roll on the Finale. (Watch after the credits)The cinematography and production design are truly a sight to behold. The editing style is beautiful and haunting. Perfectly encapsulates how memories can flash before your eyes and affect your present.Amazing performances all around particularly from Adams, Clarkson, and Scanlen. If you grew up in a small town, this dark mystery might hit close to home. A twisted, stylish, and oddly cathartic thriller that explores the harm we can inflict upon each other as well as ourselves. Enjoyed it even more than Big Little Lies, if you love Gillian Flynn's work it's a MUST WATCH!

Great adaptation of Gillian Flynn's first book...
... which wasn't as good as her second and third. This is easily as well made as Gone Girl. The miniseries format really works - I think it should be used more often, in fact. This series is a great improvement over her novel - Flynn was involved in the production so she most likely fine-tuned some flaws from her first book. From the director/ producers of the terrific series Big Little Lies - a very similar style (use of flashbacks, etc.) of storytelling. Highly recommended!

Seller-Fast & As Advertised, Sharp Objects-all teachers should watch
I liked the reasonable price. The first time I watched Sharp Objects I thought seeing it once was enough. It was beautifully acted, gripping and compelling to keep watching, but it's a very difficult and painful subject. As the months went by I started seeing more deeply into situations that most likely surround everyone - if they are willing to take a deeper look. This series helps a person recognize patterns they come across and helps to understand what the motivation may be that is driving certain behaviors. I found myself needing to watch it again. As a teacher, as a parent, as a friend - it has deeply insightful information to share.

Incredible story illustrating Munchausen Syndrome by proxy.
This is a totally believable and engrossing tale, both of people who cut on themselves and also people who harm others in order to get attention. The woman who plays the mother seems to be so loving and it is a shock when you realize that she was doing things to make her children sick on purpose and most likely murdered the other daughter years ago; I think her name was Marion. A deliciously creepy story!!

Exactly what I wanted.
Sharp Objects is great. The acting by the principals is as good as it ever gets. No easy and it requires paying attention but I LOVE IT.

I thought it was very well done. I saw it first On Demand. Liked it enough to buy the Blu-Ray.

Overall Not Bad..But Too Long.
For me this made for TV/movie “Sharp Objects” was WAY too long for my liking, it could’ve been cut by two hours.cause most of the time you see Amy Adams walking an walking with her purse hanging over her shoulder.an then she’s wearing that same dark blue sweater most of the entire movie.the story is, she had a destructive past an the more I see her she seem to delve right back into it.that part was overbearing an tedious, then most of the time she’s seeing a lot an I mean a lot of her ghost.gone bye so to speak. an she drinks much, way much a lot.then the most damming thing of all, you see one murderer girl on a window sill then the cop put his hands RIGHT nextto the body on the window sill (palms down) without any gloves then he touches her hair. I mean com’on.this town is a whole refuge of sordid souls who drink much an Gossip to the extreme without impunity.I’m not going to tell you what the sharp objects are to the story you have to see it to?but the nice thing to it if this helps not one single bullet was fired...only the one bad scene an images she sees.Oh make sure you watch the end credits for the very last episode, right away I knew it before I see it.Overall Not Bad..But Too Long.Runtime 421 Min.English 5.1 DTS-HD Master.16x9 1.78:1
