Just remember you also need the bottom part (Thermal Pellet Underliner) to complete the set. For daily use its fairly attractive and effective for its intended purpose, for more formal days look elsewhere and spend more. In use the food remains hot for nearly an hour. Hospitals use this when serving food for their patients. This is also useful for keeping food hot on the table when family takes time coming to the table, saves reheating time and altering food quality. Suggestions and tips: buy several to keep several dishes hot on table when friends and family come over for gatherings. Takes 9" plates, use heated ceramic or stoneware plates for added effectiveness. Great for outdoor use too, keeps bugs away from your food while keeping it hot. I hand wash mine, takes too much room in the dishwasher. I bought and used mine almost daily for over three months and served all kinds aromatic and fragrant foods and sometimes leaving covered over night, this does not retain food odors. I have dropped this several times from top cabinet shelves and it has survived. This Dome Cover also does not stacks well for storage. Not sure if it's BPA free but it's NSF and best of all it's MADE IN AMERICA. That's why there's quality and value here. This a definite buy!

My Dad is bed bound. This has been a great tool to keep his meals hot. We also have the bottom but had to order it separately.

Works well to keep food warm. I use it going from the BBQ grill to my condo since we cannot have a grill on the balcony.

It' only covers a standard, small dinner plate, not standard dinner plate. When I ordered this product, I thought I was getting the dome, dish and bottom tray. Just the dome - Not worth it. I decided to send it back.
