I ordered Stop the Bite on 7th September 2025 and received it on 13th September. I’m writing this review today, 14th October — exactly one month since I last bit my nails. Nail biting has been my biggest regret since childhood, and I tried to quit many times but always failed. This time, I applied Stop the Bite only 3 to 4 times in total (not even daily), and it genuinely helped control the urge. Was really helpful. Tried all the possibilities to my kid to get rid of thumb sucking nothing worked. Kid use to suck thumb in a way at the end of the day thumb becomes reddish and she will bit at some time and cry. This nail polish really helped as taste looks little different she got rid of thumb sucking immediately after applying.

It taste really bad and d taste stuck to our tongue which makes us taste all d food we ate. But, for my 18 months old son, who suck his middle & forefinger, it doesn't work out as I expected. At first he also feel d bad taste but after sometime he get used to. I try applying 3 4 times frequently but it doesn't help him stop from sucking his finger. What remains bad was his tongue which taste really bad n he doesn't like eating his meal.

Looks costlier, but works well. We used maximum for 10 days. However, remaining was completely waste.

Seems its very poinsous. I just used it in a single nail. It was sooo bitter and I had stomach upset and vomiting then. If it has this much impact to the adult what if been used by kids?? The label itself says 'reach out of children'. Please try some other method to stop nail biting

It works!!! I’ve had bad anxiety since I was a child and I’ve always been a biter. Since getting older, I’ve found ways to stop on my own but after any major inconvenience in my life, I start again. So this time, I decided enough is enough. I suffered a miscarriage and I was biting so much that it started to hurt and my nail beds seemed non existent so I wanted to try this. It’s great! Great price, no leakage, it’s pretty glossy and dries super fast. The taste is absolutely disgusting and I never realized how many times I used to put my nails to my mouth until using this product. I haven’t used it in almost two weeks and I had a hang nail, was lazy so instead of a nail clip I tried to bite it off and boyyyy, was I in for a surprise. I tasted that nasty taste….after almost two weeks of no usage. Idk if it’s my mind or just the durability of the product but I think I’m done biting for good thanks to this. This is the improvement after 3 weeks of no biting and I’m so proud of myself. There is still an urge to do it but not as strong as before

I have bitten my nails for about 20 years, started as a habit when I was very young. Decided to try this product as I was tired of my nails looking ragged and horrible all the time. This product is fantastic at cutting your habit. I am 1 week in, using this product twice a day, and not bitten my nails at all. I would bite subconciously when I was on the computer or watching a movie and now, this product reminds me to stop whenever i bite. It tastes absolutely FOUL, which is the point of the product, but it is seriously nasty and the chemical taste lingers for a while. The only problem is that this can transfer onto foods you are eating with your hands, like a packet of crisps or slice of toast, so you need to be careful. Also, if you put this stuff on your nails, you NEED to remove it after each day of use, as the potency drops off considerably after around 6 hours, and putting layers over layers of this stuff on your nails looks pretty nasty. Removes very easily with nail varnish remover. All in all, wonderful product that I am confident will curb my habit.

Excelente producto. Me lo puse y te dura días con el efecto amarguisimo. No se quita ni aunque te bañes, laves trastes, nada, no se quita con nada, tienes que esperar unos 3/5 días para que masomenos se sienta poco el amargor, yo lo uso cada tercer día. Ya ni siquiera te puedes chupar los dedos cuando comes. Supero mis expectativas 👌
