We have struggled with our oven rack being difficult to slide in and out - especially once we engaged the self cleaning feature. NO MORE STRUGGLE! I cautiously ordered the product because it’s not cheap and the description seemed too good to be true. — This product not only met the praises, but it exceeded my expectations. The 10oz spray can should last quite a while.SUGGESTION: Only apply where contact is made. For example, don’t spray the oven wall ‘tracks’. Instead, you are the rack outside and spray only the bottom of the rack ends. For roller type racks, take outside and spray the roller assembly only. The point is - it’s very easy to apply more than is needed.For transparency, it arrived today so I do not know how long it will last, yet truthfully, I don’t care. I’ll reapply it if necessary.

Used this in an oven that the racks were sticking in. What a difference. It is a bit pricy but way cheaper than replacing the oven.

It will smoke, sublimate, and allow for carcinogens to freely float throughout your oven and your house.I have a Thermidor oven with two telescopic racks in the oven. The rack stopped sliding properly, and so I investigate it and looked for a high temperature, food, safe, lubricant.After much research, I came across this product, saying that it was specifically made for high temperature environments and that it was food safe.I applied the lubricant to my racks, couple days later, turned on my oven to bake an apple pie, and immediately start to smell burning lubricant throughout the house. When I opened up the oven, a huge waft of smoke came billowing out.I’ve recorded a video and attached it to this review. I contacted the manufacturer and informed them that their high temperature food safe lubricant was sublimating all over my house, releasing carcinogens in my oven, onto my food, and into the lungs of the people in my house.Additionally, these racks are now probably useless since they are completely impregnated with this lubricant.The seller has refunded me $38 for the purchase of the lubricant. My $800 in oven racks it’s not being addressed by them.Do not buy this product if you plan to use it in a high temperature or food, safety environment.

This product works mechanically very well! However, the manufacturer as well as reviews fail to mention off-gassing of product when heated. Yes the oven racks move smoothly but I don’t want the muffins I’m baking to taste like burnt plastic! Perhaps the manufacturer and Amazon could clarify the safety of such a product when heated. Or how long it takes for the chemicals to burn off! This created distress in breathing in my household.

The product definitely worked and fixed my telescoping rackes in my thermadore oven after they fully seized.However, the first time I used the oven afterwards the racks began smoking like crazy. I ran the oven for several hours hoping to burn off the smoke but it never stopped. I then got ahold of their customer service and they gave me a refund and have changed the description on their product to warn against using on oven racks. Excellent customer service but the product is not meant for oven use.

The media could not be loaded. TERRIBLE! I AM WAITING ON A CALL FROM INTERFLON REGARDING THE SMOKE POURING FROM MY OVEN AFTER USINF THIS PRODUCT TO LUBRICATE MY TELESCOPIC OVEN RACKS. I just hope my family hasn’t been exposed to toxic materials…Oh, by the way, I was declined for a refund 👎🏻
