My dad recently had some medical procedures done that required a lot of catheter work on him. As a result of some issues that came from the catheter uses, it has messed up his ability to urinate properly anymore. I don't want to go into the nitty gritty details of it, but his inability to use the restroom as he could before, it severely limited his ability to go places. These are very useful. I am not incontinent of urine but I do have an enlarged prostate. When I pee my stream is not strong and the urine instead of falling off my penis clings to it and runs underneath the glans missing the toilet. When the stream is stronger my penis is like a sprinkler and urine sprays everywhere. When I push to get the last few drops out the pee shoots past the toilet and hits the wall. Putting a sheath on before peeing eliminates all these problems and enables me to aim straight down the pan. Additionally, when I sit on the toilet sometimes the flow of urine is so weak that it makes my scrotum wet; using a sheath directs the urine downwards avoiding a wet scrotum. Because I am not wearing the sheath all the time I remove it when done and rinse it for further use. This makes it quite economical. There is no need to use the strips as it just rolls on for use and rolls up when removed and rinsed ready for next time. It really makes peeing much more hygienic.
