Good for small group public speaking
Purchased for minister in small church- works well for a small crowd under 25. Might be useful for larger group too!

Excellent for years of heavy use
This is an excellent and reliable microphone and speaker combination. I bought this for use when I had to teach with a mask on, making it very difficult to project my voice. It was loud and clear, with no feedback as long as the speaker faced away from me. The battery life was good too, lasting about 4 hours on a charge. The battery stopped holding a charge properly after 3 years of heavy use, which I think is a rather good lifespan for such an affordable product. Overall, I was very satisfied.

HUGE help for COVID-era teachers. Slippery headsets.
Great sound quality and volume for teaching in a large space and/or large group. I am an elementary music teacher, teaching classes of 15 - 25 students, socially distanced 12+ feet apart in a huge, echoing auditorium. Though I am a trained vocalist with a strong "teacher voice" it was impossible for my students to hear me clearly, through my mask and sheild, before purchasing this microphone. Now, I can speak at a conversational volume, with no vocal strain or hyperventilating through my PPE. Several of my colleagues have purchased similar personal microphones via Amazon. Mine has the best sound quality and least feedback, hands down. Post-COVID, I will definitely continue to use this microphone when rehearsing large ensembles. It will also be very helpful for calling folk dances and singing with my larger middle school guitar classes. My ONLY complaint is that the headsets are not adjustable and they frequently slide off my average-sized head. I am constantly moving around - dancing, bending down to help little ones, moving instruments, etc. The mic drops are getting old. Fast. Hanging it around my neck is even worse - spotty amplification AND mic drops. Anybody have a hack for me?

Died at the 2 year mark
I got the amplifier set with the wireless mic and a wired one. I really liked this product. Great sound, great connection, and works very well in my classroom. At about 1.5 years of owning this and using it 5 days a week for 180 days of school per year, the wireless mic died. At the 2 year mark, the amplifier died. It’s started with the sound breaking up and screeching noises until it simply wouldn’t work. Good product, but I wished it lasted a bit longer for $50

Just a few engineering changes would make this great
I suffer from vocal dysphonia, making it difficult for others to hear me, particularly in a public setting. I decided to try a vocal amplifier. A search for "best vocal amplifiers" indicated that this one was rated best by a mile by various rating sites. It also has thousands of positive reviews on Amazon. While it does help I was disappointed for a number of reasons. In a meeting it helps others hear me. But when I am not talking, they also hear me sniffling and even licking my lips. It needs a mute button. There is an "M" button but that is for "Mode". The only way to mute it is to unplug the microphone. In addition, I would suggest an on/off button. The "Volume" dial doubles as an on/off switch. Unfortunately, as you can hear in the attached short video, if I happen to turn the off/on/volume dial just a bit too far, there is a feedback squeal. There are no markings on the off/on/volume dial so I tried to put a little white paint on it so I would know where to stop before the squeal starts. Numbers on this volume dial would be a huge help. The feedback problem could be easily fixed with an anti feedback loop in the electronics.

Great mic for game day
Purchased this for my daughter’s drill team coach. Worked well to broadcast instructions during game day and practice. Light weight and easy to use

Not reliable
Updated Nov. 17, 2021 I changing my review from two stars to one. The day after I wrote my review, the strap broke. It was glued not stitched. What made me update the review is that the unit is no longer working. It is not charging- even using a different charger made for the unit. I wouldn’t purchase this at all. I purchased this to use in my second grade classroom. Between my face mask and the plexiglass partitions, students hearing me in class was difficult. My colleague loved this unit so I bought one. I use it daily in a second grade classroom. Pros: when it works, there is good volume control and students can hear me. It has a removable clip and a nylon strap that can clip onto the unit so you can wear it. The charger charges both the Bluetooth headset and amplifier on one plug. There are two headsets-wired and Bluetooth. Both have a flexible mic that holds its position well. It has pretty straight forward directions to use. The price point is affordable. Cons: Not reliable at all! The unit comes with two different headsets- a Bluetooth one and a wired one. Neither one is very comfortable and both have a 90 degree turn near the ear that gets caught in my hair constantly. The amplifier and the Bluetooth headset do not always connect. Sometimes it stays connected for about an hour, sometimes longer. Most of the time it doesn’t stay connected or won’t even connect. I have given up on using Bluetooth because it was frustrating and not reliable. I have now been using the wired headset and wearing the amplifier at my waist. It is a bit more in consistent in working. Often there is a long pause of 3-5 seconds when I first turn on the unit and I can use it to amplify my voice. Annoying when you turn the unit on and off frequently. There is also the feedback squeal. The amplifier is very sensitive and often will squeal if the mic is even facing in the general direction of the speaker. I have to make sure the mic is up close to my nose so when I bend my head it doesn’t cause feedback. I am using this amplifier since I did purchase it and it is past the return date. I would definitely not purchase it if I had to do it over again.

loud voice amplifier
The setting I use it in is a small classroom and it works very well. It allows me to keep my voice at a normal speaking level and be heard by my students. I usually wear it as a necklace but have also used it on my waistband just fine. I just prefer being about to quickly raise or lower the volume and wearing it as a necklace seems to work best for that. This would work in a much larger setting than I am using it for i.e. an auditorium, larger classroom, fitness center, etc. I think it would work great for theater students whose school doesn't have microphones. The battery lasts a very long time. There are features I have not used so can't report on them but for simply being able to turn it on and get teaching quickly it is quite effective and easy to use. What I have enjoyed the most is the sound quality. I get clear, crisp sound with NO shrill sounds unless the microphone is right up against the unit then it will squeal loudly. I definitely recommend this microphone.

Works very well but belt tab broke, and US not Australian charger
I am a teacher in a primary school. I really like the way this works and can fit it under my mask. Students are able to hear my quiet voice inside and outside, and I have much more energy at the end of the day. I have been wearing it on the shoulder strap. Today (1 week after receiving and starting to use the device) I tried removing the belt tab because it was unnecessary while using the shoulder strap. I saw that it had arrows to remove it and took it out. Then I tried to put it back but the plastic tabs broke. So now I don't have the option to hang it on my belt. I would like to have a replacement part if possible. The only other problem with this device for me is that the charger has US plugs (I am in Australia). However it fits my other Apple chargers, so I can manage. If I could have the belt piece replaced I would be very happy with this device.

Descanso para a voz
Sou professora e trabalho em período integral, minha voz não duraria muito sem a ajuda do microfone. Ele tem um som limpo, ótimo volume e dura o dia inteiro.
