Just received our syrup. The lid won't twist off. Any advice?

Try running the top under hot water & give the lid a few taps with the back of a knife to help loosen it. Good luck.

Does this syrup need refrigeration after opening?

Refrigeration is not required, but I keep it in the frig anyway.
