This tool fulfilled my expectations. Light easy to use and adjust. Enough battery to fill the boot of my car with substantial logs and quiet.

Lovely little chainsaw ideal for small logs so easy without a cord and battery seems strong. Handles hardwood well. Removed nose guard to make saw more versatile. Uses Oregon chain so should be reliable all in all a great little buy.

Smashing chainsaw. Maybe too convenient as I used it too much and now it is knackered. Being handy I tried replacing the brushes (had to reduce it down to a zillion bit to get at them) but no joy. So in summary, ace but effectively a short life & then throw-away, thus not recommended.

in the picture it shows that a battery and a charger comes with this saw but upon reading the product specs it says" batteries included NO,batteries required YES" if it does not come with the charger and a battery THEN DONT SHOW IT WITH THE SAW,THIS IS VERY MISLEADIND,AND I WILL NOT NOW BE BUYING.(even though i have not brought this item i was required by amazon to put a star rating to review this saw to let people know to read the small print and the product specs before purchasing).

a lot better than expected

will cut 6 inch logs until your arms are tired,rather heavy for a pensioner like me but top quality. i am now saving up for additional battery about £200, but i've seen one on ebay for £50. this machine makes other models look like toys, NOT for intensive commercial use, but a winner in the garden. dennisl37

This is my 3rd Chainsaw. It is a Fantastic tool for chopping logs for the fire, so light, clean, quiet it feels a lot safer to use than the 2 strokes, it doesn't shower you in wood chips. I have used it to dismantle an 80 foot Oak tree in 2 charges and in the yard for chopping up all my firewood. a single charge easily gives enough wood for a week or a trailer full. It is so nice not to have to get out the big machines, don't get me wrong I do love to use the other chainsaws but for ease this one is is just bril, it's not for professionals just people with fires. An hours use every week for a year and no faults. Also I charge it off solar panels so the fuel is free. I can't fault it.

Iv'e just bought one of these saws today (sorry Amazon not from you) and I am supremely impressed with how it copes with large logs. Having only used petrol and until a couple of years ago an electric Stihl I was scepticle about getting a saw that ran on batteries. I have been proven wrong, this little saw coped admirably with the cutting down of two tree's and cutting into lengths for easy transportation. I had read other reviews from those who own one and rate it highly and the testers of this world (Which) who didnt rate it or any cordless chainsaw. Disregard the testers, they obviously haven't been out into the real world recently and actually used one. Don't expect to cut an Oak tree down and cut it into logs, the battery won't last that long, but it will allow you to use a saw in noise sensitive area's or where no power is available.

Reçu comme prévu Emballage OK Produit excellent, facile à utiliser et tient bien la charge. Je l'ai essayé sur abattage et débitage de 2 petits arbres dont un avec un tronc de 20cms avec une seule charge j'ai pu travailler 2 heures mais pas en continu.

Aus verschiedenen Gründen sollte eine Akku Kettensäge meine elektrische kabelgebundene Kettensäge ersetzen. Ich habe dann gründlich die Bewertungen (Bosch, Gardena, etc) in Amazon gelesen. Die Ryobi erschien vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis attraktiv. Allerdings war mir "Ryobi" kein Begriff und ich war etwas skeptisch, weil das Gerät einige negative Bewertungen einfing. Egal was soll's. Zurückschicken könnte man sie ja immer. Das Gerät wurde mit etwas Verzögerung von Amazon geliefert. Ausgepackt, Anleitungen und Warnungen gelesen, Akku geladen, Öltank befüllt und losgelegt. Die Säge ist sehr handlich und der Akku bärenstark. Die dicksten Stämme, denen ich zuleibe rückte, hatten einen Durchmesser von 18 cm. Über die Zahl der Schnitte habe ich nicht Buch geführt, aber ich war mehr als zufrieden. Pro Akkuladung benötigte ich zwei Tankfüllungen Öl. Das ist nicht viel, weil der Tank nur ca 50-100 ml fasst. Das mitgelieferte Ölfläschen war daher schon nach der halben Akkuladung leer. Also rechtzeitig im Baumarkt Kettensägenöl besorgen. Sehr praktisch auch die Akkuladekontrolle, weil die Säge zum Schluß bei leerem Akku ohne Vorwarnung ihren Dienst einstellt. An den 4 Leds kann man den Ladezustand gut überblicken. Das Nachladen ging sehr schnell (ca. 90 Minuten). Nachtrag vom 17.10.2017: Habe die Säge jetzt 5 Jahre. Immer noch topp ! Im Herbst arbeite ich damit ca 5-10 Tage. Immer noch der erste Akku und die erste Kette. Nachtrag vom 05.10.2018: Habe die Säge jetzt 6 Jahre. Alles ok ! Auch der Akku. Habe den jetzt in einer neu gekauften Ryobiakkuheckenschere eingesetzt.

Die Maschine hat genügend Leistung für leichtere Arbeiten, dafür ist sie auch gedacht. Negativ ist die labile Bauweise des Kettenspanners und die etwas magere Drehzahl. Die Kette läuft nicht ruhig und rattert der Kettenspanner löst sich, als folge springt die Kette aus der Schiene. Dies ist vor allem beim Sägen von schwächerem Holz der Fall. Wenn die Sägenkette voll im Schnitt ist läuft sie auch wesentlich besser. Der Kettenschutz an der Schwertspitze für mich hinderlich, da ich es von meinen anderen Sägen nicht gewohnt bin.

Absolument merveilleux, fonctionne depuis près de 100 minutes, se coupe facilement un arbre de 30 cm (deux de coupe face) je l'ai jeté mon essence tronçonneuse loin. Si vous avez besoin d'une tronçonneuse puis acheter cela maintenant et vous épargner une crise cardiaque. Si je pouvais lui donner 20 étoiles je le ferais!
