When you have a REALLY BIG KEYBOARD!
In the process of moving and wanted to get something economical to protect my Korg Triton Extreme 88. Of course, a flight case would have been the "safest" way to go, but since I don't gig and don't intend to jockey my keyboard around town each weekend, I just wanted something that would give it some basic protection. Of course, the hard part is finding something BIG enough to hold this monster. The keyboard weighs in at just under 63 pounds, and is a real beast to manage. So, Gator Case to the rescue! At first, I had my doubts. I didn't think it was going to fit the keyboard at all. But, with a bit of light tugging and pulling, it fit like a glove. Absolutely no room for jostling about. Zipped up nicely, and sturdy. The case is made of VERY durable material and sturdy as a brick! Handles are comfortable (even with this beast), and support the bag quite nicely. Everything speaks absolute quality. The only "con" is a reduced amount of padding. Then again, there's the sacrifice, as more padding would have almost assuredly made it an impossible fit. But, the padding is good enough, provided I don't intend to whack it into a wall or other stationary object. I would highly recommend this product.

A Great Soft Case for Keyboards
I needed a case for a Yamaha stage piano, 88 keys. I am an amateur musician, so a hard case was overkill for me. The soft sides provide adequate protection and slight firmness. It holds its shape. The Velcro straps hold the keyboard in place nicely. The zipper pockets are good for storage of music, speaker cables, and such small items. There are no wheels, but the straps provide a good purchase for carrying the case. Obviously a hard case would provides better protection in traveling over distance to gigs, but for light, local work, this is a great case.

If The Shoe Fits…
This Gator bag works great for my older Roland 64 electric weighted key piano. Not an exact fit, so measured/cut equal sized foam rectangle inserts for both ends for added cushioning. Interior twin velcro traps hold both ends snugly. Good quality, woven medium weight canvas bag, sturdy zippers, generous side netted pocket with an inner concealed pocket for power cord, adapter plug, music stand lights, 1/4” PA cables. Sturdy main handles and a shoulder strap. Flat bottom sits nicely on a dolly; add bungee ties to secure. Case is not designed with Protech style padding or reinforcement to be gorilla proof- it’s meant for light transport, on the backseat, or SUV rear cargo space.

Gator gig bags are rugged and built to last
Gator cases are very well made. I bought this 76 note keyboard gig bag for my Yamaha Montage M7 keyboard and the fit is good. It’s a little big for the keyboard but not bad. I’ve used Gator cases before and I know they hold up very well.

Good personal use keyboard bag for Roland FP 90
Very pleased with this purchase so far. We’re using the keyboard bag to carry a Roland FP 90. The FP 90 is a full size and fairly heavy piano so we wanted a strong bag. We skipped the Roland bag offered for the FP 90 after reading a review about that bag tearing, failing catastrophically, causing the reviewer’s keyboard to drop onto a hard surface. We were taking no chances! Comparing photos of the Roland bag versus this Gator bag, we noticed that the carry handles on the Gator extend using the same strap down the side of the padded bag and into the bottom. (Ideally, it should wrap all the way around and up to the other side cradling the contents in nice solid U-shaped harness.) Now that we own our Gator Cases Padded Keyboard Gig Bag we confirm that it works well for an FP 90: - the unit fits with room to spare in every dimension - the internal padded tie-down straps help hold it in and attached to the bottom of the Gator bag and prevent it from moving relative to the bottom but because it is not a form fit, it does move from side to side in other dimensions inside the bag (the sensation is a bit “body bag”) - the zipper is heavy, crisp action and doesn’t leave any concern that it may open - the side mounted bag for holding the music sheet shelf fits the one for the Roland - the carry straps look and feel as secure as we had hoped and have sufficient padding for the weight Other notes: - the bag is huge and needs some thought on how to store it when not in use - even after owning it and feeling around, we cannot confirm that the carry strap does wrap around underneath the base to the other side, the case is very well padded. Maybe, Gator Cases can confirm - carrying a Roland FP 90 will be easier, but to do it on your own you will have to be strong enough to pick up and manipulate 60 lbs. by raising, lowering, tilting, as you work through doorways, seating and tables, in between cars, stairwells, escalators, people and such. The bag will take the bumps and have you less worried but we wonder if it would help if Gator Cases added two carry handles at each end so two people could carry the bag held in between with one person leading and the other following? Even better, make those handles concealed until needed? One more thing, this is a personal travel bag where you are going to be in custody of your precious keyboard. This is not a case that you can ship the keyboard in or give to someone in whom you don’t have confidence to be careful.

Nice soft bag
This is a mid-price, padded keyboard bag that will serve as a carrying case for a small keyboard. It certainly gives you an impression of quality since the nylon canvas bag is thick, it's nicely padded and heavy enough that you'd not afraid to use it to carry a keyboard. It fits a Yamaha CS-30 easily, and it has well designed padded straps to hold it in place. Additionally, there are a pair of external compartments, one a mesh bag and the other hidden behind the mesh bag to hold pedals, cable, and external transformer. It's not big enough to hold a keyboard stand. Of course, it will take some time to determine if the design and construction hold up to real-world use, but there's nothing that leads me to believe that it won't be tough enough for transporting the keyboard to and from rehearsals and gigs. It's not designed for dedicated touring; you'll want to consider a hard case for that purpose. Note the actual bag is black, not brown, and there is no large "Gator" logo. But otherwise, it's similar to the picture.

Big improvement over the cheaper cases -- good value
I purchased this bag as a replacement for a cheaper, lightweight gig bag that I purchased for 1/2 the price of this. Even though I 'babied' the old bag, the zippers failed after a couple of year of occasional use. Really, a waste of money. I did a lot of research looking for a replacement bag that was lightweight, not too bulky, properly fit my keyboard, but was rugged and could stand up to abuse. Especially important were heavy duty zippers and decent handles. This bag is 10x more rugged with very heavy duty zippers, but was only $50 more than the bag it replaced. It is well padded with padded straps to hold the keyboard in place, grips on the bottom, but not too heavy or bulky. Large and small pockets in front are sized to be useful. Small pocket is mesh--good for the few small items you want to 'see'. Large pocket big enough for pedal, power supply, cables and a Real Book. Excellent handles are large enough for two hands and have large round rods embedded in them so they are comfortable to the grip. No shoulder strap, but such straps are impractical for 88 key boards--I never use one anyway. The old Gator cases had a huge, ugly 'Gator' logo on the front--one reason that I chose not to purchase one earlier. This newer design a small, embossed logo. Much better looking. Nothing is worse than gig bags that are poorly sized. Although slightly larger than my old bag, this is not too big (slim, 88 key size). My Yamaha P-140 fit snugly and the bag should be well suited to many similarly sized stage pianos. So far, I'm very happy with this bag. A rugged, lightweight bag that is not to bulky, heavy duty zippers and a good value.

MOXF8

This fits a Yamaha CP300
I coudn't find any bag/case that fit Yamaha CP300 dimension. The official dimensions of this case were 5mm too small widthwise. I took a chance and thankfully it fits comfortably. I have only bought it for storage and not for gigging so I can't comment on how it would stand up to lots of moving around. However, it is much sturdier than I expected. When I lift the piano via the handles it feels secure. On the whole, the bag is much better quality than I expected for the price.
