NEW Battery Terminal Clamp p/n BT4Z-14450-AA for F-150 & Expedition Vehicles

This product is Legit. Ford has a crazy setup here, and I should regularly clean it, but it’s flimsy. This replacement looks OEM quality, no doubt.I used channel locks and vice grips to pull the old crimp off, it was not easy, but it wasn’t crazy impossible. I didn’t want to cut the cable, but that was plan B.Putting this on , crimping, was the hardest part. I used my vice and a screwdriver to vice the crimp area of the part and get a “bend “ in it so that I could crimp.I used channel locks to get it crimped, and used a C Clamp to twist it more. The guy that answered a question on this part posted a link to a video and that was helpful.Ford said they sell the whole “harness” only, $485 no joke. I laughed, no thank you, and took the time to get this.

I was having battery issues so I bought this to rule out 1 thing. I'm not gonna lie, if your not handy at all go to the dealership to get this part changed. I ended up cutting off the oem one due to the fact that they saudered it to the clamp. What I used is in pictures. The walmart diy electrical kit really came in handy and a couple needle nose pliers. Wrapped it up in electrical tape and put dielectric grease in the remaining channel to keep moisture from corroding the copper wires. If you have all the equipment it can be done. Just know it took me an hour to do.

I bought this cable end to replace the stock one that fell apart. This seems to be a good solid product. I did have to make some modification to reroute the cable because the crimped end has a 90 that bends straight down instead of to the side. I was able to get it done in about an hour uncrimping the old one, running to auto parts store for dielectric grease and crimping new end on, rerouting wire and connecting both batteries. Totally worth it compared to the alternative of purchasing a whole new cable for $300. No thanks

Easy to install. I could be wrong but in order to replace just the clamp, Ford would be happy selling you an overpriced wire harness. Since the Average Joe can’t install it (wire harness), you end up bringing your vehicle to the mechanic (will get expensive). If you’re dealing with warranty issues you might have no choice. If not, buy this product and do it yourself. I have NO mechanical skills...NONE! With that said even I can do it. Seriously though, if I can install it than anyone can.

Ordered this for a 2014 F-150 XLT with the 5.0 engine after I broke the positive terminal while swapping out the battery. Dealership wanted $1,500 for a new harness and install and said you couldn’t purchase just the terminal but had to replace the entire harness. Well I took a chance in this and it worked perfectly. Appears to be exact same design and the factory accessories and fuse-able link bolted on perfectly with no issues at all. Would recommend using a hydraulic crimper although it’s not imperative.

Dealer wanted $450.00 for a new positive battery cable harness! I cut off the old clamp and replaced the end with this one. Had to be careful to remove the end from all of the existing wire because it would be too short to just cut off the end. Worked perfectly on our 2017 Ford Explorer. Finished it off with some shrink tubing and anti-corrosion spray.

This is a Positive Battery Terminal for a 2010 Ford Mustang. It is not exactly the one I need but I could not find the exact one anywhere. With a very minor modification this part will work just fine. The product was priced fairly and it was delivered overnight. All in all very please with this transaction. Would buy again. Hopefully not for a while.

The dealership wanted $800 bucks to replace the cable on my F150 because the terminal was cracked and loose. Laughed my way out to the parking lot and ordered this on Amazon. Took me 15 minutes to cut the battery cable and install this.
