Super Bird Creations SB1107 Bagel Cascade Bird Toy, Large Bird Size, Refillable Bagels, 15” x 4.5”

My Meyers had never had a toy with the “donuts” and thought she’d love them so ordered her the toy. A YEAR later was still hanging in her cage untouched so I moved it into her smaller cage that’s in my office, where she hangs out with me while I work from home. To my suprise, she went after the toy right away and loved it! She was just shredding those donuts. On the 3rd day of this being in her office cage, she got her head stuck in one of the plastic oval-shaped rings, the ones that are baby toys. It was VERY scary and thank goodness I was home and managed to help her get her head out because she might have hung herself had I not been there. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS, NOT TOY SELLERS FAULT. We’re all supposed to know our birds and what is safe for them, and this toy is marketed for large birds, I should’ve known better, now I do. Sharing this for other folks to make sure not to buy toys with those plastic rings for smaller birds. Mine is a Meyers parrot, 25 years old, about the size if a Robin. Will buy toys with those donuts again, but not those plastic rings.

This is the first toy my African Gray took to immediately. She barely let me attach it to the cage before playing with it. What a winner! I will definitely reorder. It’s very colorful, made of different materials & even spins!

Conure loved it.

I thought the toy would last longer as it appears very sturdy. It is thick, heavy and solid but he destroyed the toy in two days. Oh, he enjoyed the toy and it entertained him and kept him constantly busy. I think the reason was that it wasn’t knotted and had some kind of big bead or plug between each toy part. When my lesser sulfa cockatoo broke the cord like string between the parts the entire row fell apart. He loved the pieces and went to town on them.

Love love. Entertained bird quite a while. And the color is nice.

My African Grey loves this toy. It only lasts for a couple of days, but that is because he just works and works at it. By the time he is finished the bottom of his cage is full of paper. It does allow you to restock it, and I looked at buying just the paper rings, but they are sold for about 4 dollars for six of them, which is one leg of this toy. Just buying a new toy is more economical; although, I would encourage finding other things to put on this. A definite good buy for us!

I bought this toy for my Double Yellow Head Amazons and African Grey and they chewed through the bagels the first day. That’s actually great because that’s what they’re supposed to do, but I just need to find a cheaper source of birdie bagels to refill the toys with. Just don’t expect it to be a long lasting toy with medium size birds like Amazons & Greys.

I bought my birds several toys at the same time. This is the one they both go to first and keep coming back to. It occupies them. I love that u can refill it. It’s well made. I will buy more in the future I’ve bought soooo many of these toys. My cockatoos cannot be without this one. Of course they chew up the cardboard. But that’s what bird toys are for. It keeps them busy . They especially like it when winding down for the night . U can also get creative and hang different items on the plastic .

Keeps my African Grey busy. Good quality, and lasts longer than most toys.

My galah loved his new toy and had the best time peeling off all the bagel layers. It's great that you can buy new bagels too. Highly recommend this toy.
