Franklin Sports Ice Skating Trainer

Got it for our grandson who just turned 2 a few weeks ago. We are so glad we did! I wasn't sure he would be in to using it so I got it from the Used like new, saved 10 bucks, all it was missing was the Allen wrench that according to the instructions was included, but grandpa has a arsenal of tools and he took care of the 2 only screws that it has. It can be adjusted to two highs, in the video we have it to the lowest, we are hoping this trainer last until next year when he will start using ice skates because it will be very helpful for him and by then we will adjusted to the next height (around 6 inches higher) And im saying I hope it last because the metal looks like if left outside it will be destroyed by rust. Im hoping mom and dad puts it away. Assembling couldn't been more easy, just shake it a little bit to make sure both spring- loaded push botton parts click and locks, after that is sturdy and we felt it was safe. Overall this trainer was a hit, our grandson immediately gain confidence and wanted to use it chasing grandpa around.

This is great for little ones to learn to ice skate, it's sturdy. At our local skate rink they have traffic cones which work horribly. This is really helped my 4-year-old to learn how to skate.

I was able to snag this as an open box return so the price was ideal. Either way, this is great item for home rink use and is very sturdy. I like the little parent strap feature to assist little ones. Super easy to assemble.

My daughter is 5 and about 44” tall. She’s barely able to use it. I’d say it’s not appropriate for her size but would be great for smaller children.

It's really short. Probably only good for a 3yo.

This is the best trainer for teaching a child to walk too. We spent 3 times as much on a fancy Montessori walker that has some bells and whistles but trash at the prime function of walking and our son isn’t interested in it. I put some felt pads on the bottom of this one so I can use it on hardwood and vinyl in the house. He loves it and is doing many laps around the house. You’re welcome.

It’s pretty overpriced for how crappy this device is. I’d check your Facebook marketplace for a used one for $10. It breaks on first use. The screws don’t stay in on the bar on bottom. It’s wobbly, uneven. Or go make a homemade one out of PVC from your local home depot

Easy to put togeather. My kid loved it as he learned fo skate.

Purchased for a 3 year old just learning to skate and it worked beautifully on the first try. It helped her keep her balance and her strides were already getting longer than they were without it. Excited to see her grow with it.

Very pleased with this product. Good quality. Easy to put together. Adjustable height is nice. It slides on ice well and packs up perfectly for travel in our SUV.

Probably would have been decent if it came with everything we needed. No instructions, no screws, no strap. Probably would have been a little short for our 5 year old anyways, so returning it is not a loss.

I ordered 2 of these, one is defective. See attached pics. Instead of locking pins on the top frame, there are 2 holes. Height looks short as well. I haven't tested them out
