4 to 6 acara's will be fine,but please consider tank size. These fish can grow up to 7 inches. A healthy fish needs a good clean environment.

When purchasing will I receive live fish?

When purchased i received a 1.5 inch super lively fish

Is this fish aggressive toward other fish

The cichlid family of fish in general is more aggressive however blue acara tend to be more docile than others in the family I still would not recommend mixing them with any other than cichlids Raised for a couple years mixed with peacock and Victorian cichlids
