This Progress with Oxford: Fractions, Multiplication and Division Age 5-6 workbook will help your child to progress with number skills, such as multiplication, division and fractions, while having fun . They will quickly learn to recognise and find a half and a quarter of an object and an amount and to solve problems using multiplication and division skills. The Progress with Oxford series has been created to help every child develop essential skills at home, with minimal help and support. Picture clues are used to show very young children how to complete activities, whilst reminder boxes, tips and advice support older children to become self-sufficient learners. A lively character accompanies your child through all the colourful and engaging activities , and fun stickers are included to reward their work . A handy progress chart at the end of each book captures their achievements, so you both know what to do next. You can find even more practical advice, free eBooks and fun activities to help your child progress on our award-winning website, oxfordowl.co.uk . Let's get them flying! Review: The best brand of workbooks! - I discovered these workbooks during the lockdown after trying a few different companies. Other books tend to be say age 5-7, so the breadth of content ability was quite wide and was putting my daughter off as there were lots of things that are actually from the Year above or were too complicated. These are brilliant as they are more narrow and more suited to the ability of the child (in whatever age they are as obviously every child differs!)- but perfectly suited to those working at Year 1 level. Great stickers to add some reward and also stickers within the workbook answers themselves which make it a little different, not just writing work. I've been really impressed with them and they've really helped! Thanks to the creators! Review: Good practice - Great

Great for a five year old. Motivating and rewarding.
A good activity book for my son. He loves numbers and has found this challenging but not out of reach. He's engaged and looks forward to the sticker rewards. The questions are set at the right stage for him which keeps him motivated.

Excellent for making these skills accessible and not daunting for children
As a former teacher I really like the Progress with Oxford range and I think they are an excellent resource both in educational and home settings to help children get to grips with the basics of in this case Multiplicstipn, Divisions and Fractions without it being scary or over intellectualised as it was when I was a child. This red series of Progress with Oxford is aimed at year 1, and starts gently with the concept of counting in groups rather than labelling it 'learn your times tables' this much more naturalistic approach which is reflected throughout such as filling bowls with x number of fruit, or items on the shelf for multiplication, and sharing beads equally on strings (which can be turned into a kinaesthetic activity) or apples on plates as examples for division. There's lots of hands on and real life maths that make the activities not feel like the maths lessons that grown ups remember, there's lots of colouring, drawing and enthusiastic encouragement throughout and tips and tricks to take the ideas further. We really enjoy these books as part of our daughter's home education ano she always looks forward to the activities and the funny characters that help children on their learning journey, in this case an alien called Dubble.

Packed with great ideas.....
This is packed with great ideas for children beginning to work with multiplication, division and fractions. It is attractively illustrated with very clear instructions. There is plenty of practice of the different concepts and children will love the little Dubble character who guides the pupil along. There are also frequent opportunities stickers to be awarded for good work. At the end there is a useful progress chart for the child to complete. This is all very well thought out and my grandson is having a great time working his way through the book. I will now look for other books in the series.

Excellent book
Very helpful product. The kids can understand the contents on their own. My son loved it. The reward stickers make it much more interesting.
