This sounds really great on Fender FA-100. Feels great on fingers too. Edit: Its been 6 months now, after heavy everyday use and 1st E string finally gave up. This is the longest period any brand I’ve used before have lasted, most of them get torn down in 2-3 months. I’m placing the order again for this string.

The 4th string which us D String broke while playing at the rehearsals yesterday on the 21st September. I have just installed the strings, its coil came off within just a matter of one week after its installation, I don't know if I am eligible for a refund or a reissue. Would you be able to please help?

If you crave for a brilliant sound on your acoustic guitar, seek no more. These will keep their beloved sound for a way longer time than uncoated strings. As for the feeling, if you haven't tried coated strings yet, give it a go. You'll figure out whether you like them or not. It feels slippery compared to regular strings, especially in the first few days. I do like it, but you have to try for yourself!

Jag är jättenöjd. Plötsligt blev det roligt att spela igen. Kanske inte de billigaste strängarna, men de gav min gamla gitarr ett lyft, bättre än de billigare jag köpt tidigare.

Elixir strings are the best acoustic strings ever, period! Delivery took more than 2 weeks, not that i can have any control to it as it came from America. No qualms so far.

These strings are are unreal. I've used a number of different strings & you can hear slight differences. These strings deliver the total package, though. The highs shimmer & are well defined, the lows are smooth & deep, without muddying up the sound. As far as longevity, I play 5-10 hours a week & change them every 6 mos, but honestly, it's more out of habit than necessity. The feel is great! When I was first turned on to them, I was expecting them to feel "fake", like there was a layer between my fingers & the actual strings but that's not the case. The only difference is when you're moving around the fretboard, there's not the same level of scratching when sliding from one note to another. It's not gone, it's just less pronounced. I know some people like that sound & the authenticity it adds to the sound. Overall, I give these Elixer Acoustic Guitar strings 5 stars all day.
