87521CB 87521 Glasspack Muffler

Perfect sound.

Removes rasp without really lowering volume much. I put 2 of these on a 2008 Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI that I previously did a resonator delete on with an x pipe. So now it has resonator delete with an x pipe, cherry bombs just before the mufflers, and stock mufflers. It sounds very good. The stock resonator kills all the rasp but it also kills all the sound. This was an awesome upgrade because it sounds very good and it is quiet when driving normal then when you go full throttle it really opens up. I don’t think any other aftermarket exhaust would sound much better than this. The Cadillac CTS exhaust is an odd one because the middle resonator really does all the work in the exhaust. Started with just the x pipe and it sounded awful. Had to have the cherry bombs in there to cut out the rasp.

Awesome sounding glasspack "muffler" sounds great on my Big block chrysler, but my neighbors probably don't like it as much... this muffler doesn't really lower the volume very much, but instead removes alot of the raspyness that you would get when straight piping the exhaust system. Also a word of advice, if I were to get another glasspack, I would get a similar length glasspack comparing from stock. The construction of the glasspack is questionable for $35, I would say it should be around $20 to $25. paint was slightly peeling on mine, nothing like a high temp rattle can spray can't fix. This muffler is a 12 incher, the stock muffler was 16 inches. Get a similar sized glasspack compared from stock. Final few words to leave off with. Awesome sound, have it on or don't in a heavily populated area, people are not very fond of "loud" mufflers. I took my glasspack back off as I was receiving glares from neighbors, and replaced it with another quieter muffler *sigh*

Low cost great sound! Replaced the factory muffler on a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The car originally sounded weak and wimpy. I had a muffler shop weld a 2 inch straight exhaust pipe and remove the stock muffler but left the factory resonator in line. It turned the car into a monster and was fun for a few weeks but the drone and noise and excessive pops and burbles causes fatigue and draws too much attention for city driving. I had to tone it down so I had a muffler shop weld this little cherry bomb muffler in line and the result is just about perfect. It got rid of the drone and cut the sound enough to avoid attracting undue attention, yet it still sounds sporty. It makes the engine sound bigger than it is. It still pops and burps occasionally and sounds impressive when accelerating. I miss the angry loud no muffler sound but I think this is the best compromise between no muffler and one that still sounds good and aggressive. You can't go wrong with this little gem. Highly recommend for a 4 cylinder engine!

Absolutely insanely loud this thing completely transformed the stock sound in my Mustang to a screaming sound. Very much recommended if you want you car to be LOUD

This muffler is SMALL and therefore reduces the exhaust noise SLIGHTLY. Don't expect a huge difference in sound level.
