Not what promised
It was ok but they took longer than needed to arrive and they were some slides missing!? It’s overall nice other than those 2 incovinces

Inexpensive and adequate
This is a very reasonably priced set for student use. Some of the slides are cut too thick (kidney, large vein, thymus, adrenal, spleen, pancreas). Hematoxylin staining of some slides (kidney, spinal cord) is poor. This is autopsy tissue and students will be confused by the ischemic loss of half of the mucosa of the gall bladder, small intestine and large intestine, and the necrotic adrenal center. “Large artery” and “ simple squamous epithelium” are the same piece of tissue. Clever students will pick up that the section of “adipose tissue” is actually heart. Despite the flaws, this is the best human teaching set for biology instructors on a budget.
