Made a legitimate and immediate difference
I had taken my manual Veloster in to get a new door after someone hit me in the parking lot. Once I got my car back it shifted terribly. As a side note I believe this was most likely caused by a technician at the auto shop I took my car to either hot running my car or driving it without knowing how to drive a manual transmission. The gear lever was very notchy and in sixth gear I had to slam it to even get it to go into sixth gear. So needless to say I was pretty worried about it. I had heard of prolong in the past and so I bought it and thought might as well give it a try. I put it in my transmission last night and after I got everything button back up a cycled through the gears with my foot on the clutch and then I took it for a quick trip down the highway cycling through all 6 forward gears and reverse. And I noticed an immediate difference now I'm driving it again today and it still feels better I think it feels better than it did last night so it seems like it may continue to improve my shifting experience. I'm very thankful that I tried this product and I suspect you will be thankful as well. As I'm driving right now cycling through the gears I'm noticing no spots where it feels like my lever is getting hung up I noticing no I'm hesitation as I fully engage the gear It feels more like it's getting sucked into place as opposed to having to force it into place

Best stuff on the planet
Use this every oil change for over 20 years in multiple cars an trucks. Currently using on truck with over 230,000 miles. Helps keep truck running smoothly with quality oil. After using one full bottle, only use half the bottle on every oil change as some still remain in engine. Definitely a great product for older cars and trucks. Not a fix all but keeps your vehicle on the road for longer.

Worked surprisingly well
04 ram 1500 automatic transmission. I read about someone using prolong in a dodge forum and I tried it as a last resort to fix my hard shifting and disengaging problems and it worked. It shifts very smooth now. I removed 8 oz of trans fluid and poured it in. I will use prolong every time I change my fluid. It’s not a miracle in a bottle but it is very effective

For manual transmissions with mildly worn synchronizers….
I currently drive a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe (6MT), and most of the gears are really notchy, with 2nd gear crunching and grinding sometimes, and 3rd gear locking me out occasionally at high revs. I plan to add this alongside using AC Delco (GM) Synchromesh friction-modified manual transmission fluid. I’m overfilling to nearly ~3.5+ quarts. With only 2.7-3 qts of non friction-modified OEM and other OEM equivalent Synchromesh fluids, I am still noticing crunching and grinding of 2nd and 3rd gear during cold starts/driving. It takes nearly 12-15+ solid minutes of shifting past 2500-3000 RPM, to get the gearbox and trans to properly warm up to proper operating temps.I will update this once I add it to my current mixture of MTF. I am currently running 2 qts of OEM Honda MTF, and 1 qt of AC Delco Synchromesh friction-modified MTF. I plan to fill the rest of the MT with this Prolong MT/AT additive, as well as topping it off with some OEM equivalent 75w80 GL4 MTF made for brass, like Valvoline, Penzoil, or Quaker State Synchromesh.

Great Product
I love this product; I have use prolong transmission and oil treatment for over twenty years. I use this additive on every fluid change in all my vehicles. Reason why. I had a 1994 Honda Accord, which I used the Prolong oil additive on every oil change. Then in 1998, my wife came home from work and told me there was a lot of oil on the ground underneath the car. I asked how much and to my supervised, she said it was enough that she noticed it by before she stepped in. When I checked the oil level, it was empty, and I asked my wife why did you not call me? Her answer was she did not think it was bad enough and had no issues while driving. Instead of calling me to pick her up, she drove home over 10 miles. Well, I expecting the engine to be seized. I had it towed to the Honda dealer and was told the main seal went out and caused the oil to drain out. The service rep wanted to know what else I used in my car? The maintenance manager told me that there wasn't any other damage to the engine, and if my wife drove the car as far as she did, the engine should have been distorted. I told him the only thing different was the use of Prolong with every oil change. He said never to stop using it and asked where I bought my Prolong. The main seal was under recall, so I paid nothing for the repair. I will always use this product, thank you Prolong.
