Mayday Game Card Sleeves 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" (100 Pack)

When I was trying to decide which sleeves to buy for Nemesis, someone brought to my attention that you'll likely want the cards to fit back in the box when you're done. With that, I decided to go for the standard Mayday Games sleeves, as folks on BGG reported no issues with them fitting. I am happy to say that not only do all the cards fit, but the sleeves themselves are excellent for the affordable pricetag. They're perfectly clear, so the card is as visible as ever, they're sized just right with a tiny bit of "border" around the card; and they have a very nice glide when you shuffle or spread them out along a deck or hand. After a few games of Nemesis, there may be a slight crinkle developing on a few, but for as many as you get for the great price, that's a minor complaint. Another cool little benefit is that, when you've used up all the sleeves in a bag, you've now got a nice little zip lock storage solution for tokens or other contents in the game. You could even bag up each deck by function or card type. I have already returned to Mayday Games for further purchases, and with an admittedly irresponsible amount of Gamefound pledges heading my way in the future, I can say with certainty I will be back for more. These are card sleeves. They fit the cards as advertised. They are just good enough to protect your cards from shuffling wear, which is why you are thinking of buying them. They will not protect your cards from the following sources (not comprehensive): aggressive pets, spilled chemicals, that niece or nephew that hates you, armor piercing rounds, etc.

I am using these card sleeves for Mage Knight UE and they fit perfectly. These feel great and shuffle easy. I did not need all 400 for this project and I am dropping this to 4 stars because a few tore at the edges when I slide a card inside. Otherwise, it is great value for the price.

Always my #1 choice for sleeves for any game! They have every size you can imagine. Sometimes I buy direct from the company, sometimes I buy Amazon. These were a great deal!

I bought 2x 100 sleeves for Pandemic 2nd ed. + Pandemic OTB expansion which I recently purchased. I had to sleeve 147 cards, and every sleeve fit perfectly with minimal gap, and no damage before or after sleeving. They were also easy to sleeve so sleeving didn't take too long. My only criticisms are that the card pile is a bit thicker and wider than the standard pile (obviously) and flow over the top of the manufacturer-provided box. This isn't a problem with either product, but it would have been good if the box had a bit of space to allow for this. The sleeves are slippery so the cards must be stored wrapped in elastic bands to prevent them sliding around in the box (not a problem as I like keeping them sorted and stored this way anyway). The extra width means that the cards for the original+expansion don't fit together in the bays provided in OTB, whereas without the sleeves I think everything could fit in a single box. This is also not a problem for me as I keep the original cards in the original box along with extra packaging material etc where the rest of the components would be kept, and I moved these components into the expansion box. The slipperyness does mean that the cards are difficult to stack without falling over though, which is a problem if you aren't playing on a flat table or if you are a bit careless when placing the deck after shuffling. However shuffling is faster/easier than with plain cards, so that is a plus. In short, the sleeves fit perfectly and provide sufficient protection without being overly cumbersome to use. Does the job and does it well!

I don't normally leave reviews, but these are great. They come with enough to fit the Talisman 5th Edition bade game and then some, so you're probably set for an expansion or two. The sleeves feel like standard penny sleeves so they are a bit slippery which means that the deck of cards is likely to slip or fall when drawing a card. Though, I assume like other sleeves, this slippery quality will go away once the cards are handled and used more. The main reason why I'm giving this 5 stars is because the sleeves are thick enough to feel protective from things like natural hand oils, dirty fingers, and spills, but they're thin enough to have everything fit comfortably in the original box and tray. I can't tell you how many games I have that need a custom tray after the cards are sleeved to fit everything, but not with these! It closes up like they're not even there. It's the best of both worlds.

The sleeves are very lightweight, but there's so many of them that you'll have plenty if any need replacing.
