Works well for absorbing moisture.
I use this to absorb moisture in a sea freight container and it works very well.

Pricey, but very effective.
I had stocked up on this item back in December, but was finally able to use it a few days ago when we received about 2" of snow.My original intention was to shovel the driveway/sidewalk and apply the Pellets of Fire afterwards. As it turned out though, I was unable to due to oversleeping and having to rush to work. What I did have time to do though, was to sprinkle the pellets in an area of roughly 160' with snow that rose to about 2". The end result? In about 5 hours, it was still lightly snowing outside, but my driveway/sidewalk was completely clear.I did end up using 4/5 of the product this way, and because of that, I do not recommend using this product in the way that I did, but if you are in a hurry, it certainly does work, and work well.

Packaging for delivery needs improvement
This is a great product, we use it in Vermont, however, twice the packaging was lacking because the product spilled into the box and it was a mess. I think you could do better

This is generic Damp Rid
This is calcium chloride, the exact same substance that constitutes Damp Rid and other humidity control products. Of course this is much more economical for refills. I haven’t tried it as a snow or ice melt but will give it a shot this winter.

The Best
This is the best snow melt I've ever used. It doesn't harm the concrete sidewalks and it works instantly. Although its a bit expensive on Amazon.

The product did exactly what I needed but it arrived with the lid taped on because the kid had been smashed. Do better Amazon

Use it on clear, wet pavement
When I used this last year I didn't use it correctly and didn't get good results. This year, WOW, it did an amazing job at keeping my walkway, driveway and even the hill in front of my house snow free. The key is to apply it when the pavement is wet and clear, then when it snows, the snow doesn't stick there. You can see snow up the hill in my photo where I didn't treat.

Stay away, It doesn't work.
This stuff is GARBAGE. Hard to describe just how it acts. Sprinkled it on my driveway & after a light snow & expected driveway to be completely black in awhile...as it is with good old Quik Joe. This stuff melted only where each pellet was dropped. Driveway looked like it had a bad case of acne!!. Had to go out & scrape it off before nighttime freezing. Ran out & got Quik Joe while it was still snowing & spread it around. Within an hour, driveway was completely black, as usual. If there was a minus star rating, this stuff deserves it. Wasted a lot of $$$ on the 4 pack.Disclaimer: I am not a shill for Quik Joe, just happens to be what I usually use.
