is this a fixed head or ratchet head if so can the ratchet be reversed

Man, there is a LOT of erroneous and bad information in these answers. This wrench happens to be a forward only ratcheting torque wrench. Whoever says you don’t need to torque in reverse must have never done multi step torquing with verification torques in reverse. There are MANY ratcheting torque wrenches, even split beams, that have reverse. My 3/8” and 1/2” Snap-On’s both do. Look them up if you don’t believe me. Snap-On Tqfr250 And Tqfr100A. A&S’s Dad’s come t is absolutely correct. Also, if your wrench is made to reverse, you can use it in reverse without it needing re-calibrated. We get ours re-calibrated annually at work in accordance with equipment and automotive standards.

Does it measure degrees for tty bolts?

No. It's a good reliable mechanical wrench, not a Snap-on TechAngle model. Get yourself a head bolt angle gauge, use it properly, and save a lot of money.
