Did the trick with spigot
I used this for a clean-looking install of a hose bib spigot. Drilled a center hole with a wood spade bit.

Appears solid, but wrong profile.
I was hopeful, but guess I have to try something else. The product itself feels durable and well made at least.

Works Great
Far better than anything I could have fabricated to mount my exterior light on the siding. Make sure you check the width of your lamp base though or you'll be headed back to Home Depot to replace that light you bought :)

Good Quality, sturdy block, but the color was so pale we thought it was white!
This is actually a very nice mounting black, but I am very disappointed with the color. I ordered grey. When I took it out of the package, I swear it was white! The only was it looks grey is putting next to actual white. My house is slate grey, much darker than this, but I can't find anyone that one near that color.

Wrong color not grey but more like off white/beige.
Headline says it all, it's well made but it's not even close to grey. It's beige/off white.
