Makes perfect poached eggs!
At last a real old fashioned poacher that works just like my Mom used to use. I tried the micro-wave plastic based poachers and all they did was explode the eggs when the small amount of water super heated. This original aluminum light weight pan comes with a glass see through lid way is controlled, simple and easy and 2 coated poaching cups. It makes perfect poached eggs. ! add a squirt of olive oil to help them flop on to my plate. I have the 2 egg poacher. The pan has a water line. Fill, boil and cook. Really like this one! (Trashed the exploding plastic one!). Came in a nice cardboard box.

Great little pan for poached eggs.
Great pan. Stainless parts with Teflon coated egg cups. (I still coat them with butter or similar) Easy to clean. Clear cover lets you see cooking progress. The cover has a small vent hole so it doesn't get steamed up Water depth is marked on the pan for best depth.

Perfect for the quick chef
Pros: quick, perfect poached egg. Can walk away and takes no real work. Can also leave on for longer if you want more hard boiled with fraction of the time of boiling pot of water Cons: all minor - but the handle and everything get so hot. Some water seems to always boil into egg cup.

Great little tool for the price.
Just enough room for my two eggs for breakfast. Iโm the only one in my family who eats them poached, so great value for the money. The non stick surface keeps the eggs sliding out without help when they are cooked. Works well and easy to use and clean.

Nice looking works well sturdy
Nicer then I thought it would be. a bit difficult to take the egg cup out when is hot but eggs cook well and quickly. Perfect at 3 minutes nice runny yolk and white all cooked.

Not a high quality item but it gets the job done
This is a lightweight pan with an insert for two egg cups and a glass lid with a stainless steel knob. The egg cups are non-stick, which is nice. No butter or oil is needed. The handles are small, though. The instructions show a person picking them up with bare fingers but of course you'd burn yourself if you did that after poaching the eggs. The written instructions tell you to wear heat resistant gloves. (Do as they say, not as they show.) I don't have heat resistant gloves and need to use a potholder. The tiny handles make for a clumsy process with a potholder. I've found that by twisting the egg cups so that the handles protrude over the edge of the pan, I can get a decent grip with a potholder. You'll need a potholder to remove the lid, too, as the metal knob gets hot. The lid tends to stick to the metal insert so that when the eggs are done and I lift the lid, the insert comes along with it, trapping the eggs inside. Some banging and shaking is often required to get the insert to come loose. So it's not the most convenient thing to use, but it does get the job done.
