My wife bought 3 of these for our son's. She really liked how heavy and thick they are. She wrote up something personal to engrave them with.Sadly she passed away before she could complete the task. I finished it for her and gave to our son's. Was supposed to be for their birthday presents. But with her passing I handed them out as soon as I got them back.Of course the boys were all very touched! Great memories from their mom!Nice quality, heavy feel. Engravable in the back. May be lead free pewter?? No sure, but nice.

This is one of my favorite necklaces(my cross necklace being my favorite) it is perfect for me because it has my favorite verse. Every time I wear it I can't take my hands or eyes off of it. No, it is not the most dainty of necklaces, but it is the meaning of it that makes me love this necklace so much. The size is just like the size of a normal dog tag. It is thick enough so that you don't have to worry about it getting all bent up. So it is very durable and is made of good quality. The words inscribed are clear and big enough to read with no problem. I think it would make a great gift for anyone, but especially for a soldier so they could put it with their other tags. The verse is perfect for that situation.

I found this item to be really cool. I always wanted a gift for my 5 year old son that serves as a bond between both of us as guys. The message was apt. I have worn a gold chain and cross pendant my wife gave me as a wedding present two years before my son arrived. He has always wanted something hanging around his neck too. So this works perfectly....even though i had to reduce the length of the chain so it’s his size. You won’t need to do this if he was an older kid.Basically, a good and satisfy product.Can we have one in gold ?
