I have a 2" pvc pipe already in my floor, will this slide into that 2" pvc pipe?

This floor drain compatible 2" PVC shower drain base,and we have prepared a lubricant in the package to help slide into.

Is the thread at the base of drain compatible with a 2" pvc pipe thread

I don't think so. Mine's installed, so I can't check it, but, since the extension pipe that screws onto the drain assembly fits inside the 2" shower drain flange, and since the threads on that extension pipe are on the inside, I think that the diameter of the threaded portion at the base of the drain would be too small.

What is the weight of this drain, 1.06 lb seems a little light for a brass model ?

Mine's installed, so I can't weigh it, but that sounds about right.
