Make Your Own Discovery Bottles (Klutz Science/STEM Activity Kit)

This was such fun activity to do with my toddler, after hours of play they bottles have proven to be durable and the top is child proof however I did noticed a small issue. Although the top is leak proof the oil used for the ocean sensory bottle seeps through the top, I tried to make it work however I eventually had to dump it out. I’ll be keeping the bottle to use for a diy sensory bottle, I have not had any issues with the space themed sensory bottle in terms of leaking!

We had fun making these. Instructions were easy and they turned out perfectly. Came with everything to make. Like the size of the bottles and I used some E6000 glue on the lid to make sure it doesn't come off.

I love this so much! I was looking for a glitter bottle to use for sensory regulation and as a timer. This was perfect. When I was researching options for a glitter bottle everything was very pricey for what Im looking for. Not only does it look amazing when it’s finished, but it comes with a booklet of all sorts of activities to do with the bottles. It contains the necessary materials for a glitter bottle and an aquarium interactive bottle. It’s a good price for what it comes with. I loved it so much! The one thing I would change is being able to choose.the bottles you want to make. Or having a variety of options for which bottles you get rather than just the two. The two it comes with are pretty good though. I really love it other than that.

These are VERY EASY. Which is really great with a 4 year old that wants to do stuff but also has a short attention span. It has a booklet included for more activities and fun after the initial 2 experiments have lost their coolness. My 4 year old LOVED that he could put these together mostly himself and create something new and exciting!

It’s a little pricey for what you actually get in the kit. The one where the fish has to go through a hoop is cool and unique, but yeah not a lot of variety.

I almost didn't order these given the reviews that they fall apart. But ours have been great, I don't encourage the kids drop them and I try to keep them out of the littlest ones way. But when the 2.5 year old has dropped them they have withstood the impact. We haven't had any leaking issues either.

Just what I needed for my classroom. No mess, easy to assemble and fun to make. Looking to see if you have other discovery or sensory bottles to make. 😊

The kit comes with 2 bottles, don’t be fooled by all the pictures showing 4. The bottles are thin plastic, within 5 minutes of making one it got knocked down and shattered. One of the glitter packages was spilled all in the box. One of the covers was leaking no matter how tight we made it. The glitter glue clumped in the bottle and stayed that way, despite using the recommended room temperature water. Overall very disappointed with this purchase and wouldn’t recommend at all. The directions were easy to follow and it came with a neat booklet, just wish the items were better quality.

Esta aburridisimo, sólo tiene 2 botellitas y casi nada para hacer, con dos botellas de refresco, colorante, aceite y diamantina se logra lo mismo, a mis hijos no les gustó, no vale lo que cuesta.

This is a little over priced and you can make your own but if you don’t have the time this is great. My girls loved the galaxy one and didn’t care for the other one. They didn’t leak at all, until my 4yo knocked one odd the table onto the hard flood and it cracked. Big mess! But we’re used to mess and it cleaned up easily. No sparkle left behind.

I like the idea but having mineral oil in a bottle that can easily be opened by a child is not a good idea. Warnings are very clear. I would say supervised play only.
