Diary of a Wimpy Kid Box of Books 1-4 Hardcover Gift Set: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick Rules, The Last Straw, Dog Days

I bought this series for my nephew's son. He enjoys reading. They are hardcover which allows him to carry them around without damaging the pages inside. I especially like the fact that the 4 books come in a decorated box that allows him to keep the four books together on the bookshelf.

My 8 year old read them all in a few days. It was perfect for keeping him reading this summer. He is very organized and loves the box set of books.

The books were in excellent condition they still looked brand new and shipping was quick. I have a happy child as well.

I bought these books yearly for my nephew when he was little, he enjoyed them. My Grandson is about that age.

My great granddaughter loves reading and the set was very well made!

For those unfamiliar, this is a great intro to the series by Kinney. Also nice to ease a child into reading. Easy difficulty with humor mixed in can definitely appeal to a younger audience. Plus it's only the first four books, so a small investment compared to buying all.

The books were great. It just took longer than expected to receive them. It was Christmas though

Very popular book for two of my kids. My 15 year old wanted this set when he was in the third grade and now my daughter who is a 3rd grader wants these as well. My son was very behind in reading and these kept his attention and had enough drawings to keep him interested. My daughter is an A/B Honor roll student who enjoys reading and these keep her attention as well. Cute, funny stories that are pretty age appropriate; although reading then as a mother...I do catch some words like stupid, etc.... that I don't care for. I'm willing to let that slide - just to make sure my children are reading..... as opposed to being illiterate. Nice boxed, hardcover set...maybe they will last until the 4 year old is in the 3rd grade!?!? :-) A little overpriced around the holidays but worth it in the whole scheme of things. I'd rather buy pricey books that other junky toys!

For those who loves readying a funny and engaging story, you will find this series a great buy. Recommended for ages 10 to 14.
