โBachelor Pad Economicsโ is THE financial advice bible for menโฆand any women who are bold enough to read it! Whether youโre 14 and just trying to figure out life, or 70 and starting to think about estate planning, โBachelor Pad Economicsโ addresses every major (and minor) economic and financial issue the average man will face in his ENTIRE life. From dating, to what to major in, to purchasing a home, to starting a business, to children and โwife training,โ โBachelor Pad Economicsโ is the wisdom you wish the father-you-never-had gave you. Written FOR GUYS it is candid, blunt, honest and everything else Oprah isnโt, and will give you the road map you need to provide direction and purpose in your life. Guaranteed to prove more useful than a college degree, "Bachelor Pad Economics" is WELL worth the money to buy and the time to read. Review: This book explains what your teachers and parent's can't or won't. - This book isn't the end all be all. However Aaron Clarey does a remarkably good job of filling in the blanks where teachers in particular and society in general have failed. As men we all know that we are seriously lacking the knowledge our grandfathers and above took for granted. A sizable chunk of the population is fatherless, and those of us lucky enough to grow up in an intact family are ourselves badly taught. Many have said it before and I will repeat it, thank the Lord for the internet and youtube. This book, Bachelor Pad Economics is practically a necessity for any young man coming out of high school today. I personal made sure my cousin got a copy when he graduated. While it doesn't cover each topic in full depth, as it would need to be about 10 books for that, it does do a remarkable job of hitting most topics every man should know by the time he is eighteen. One thing Clarey covers repeatable in his youtube channel and again in this book is "How not to get into debt." This book helps by explaining methods of how to avoid this trap. While personally minimalism is not for myself, one can follow a lot of the examples to avoid getting into financial peril. There is a lot of good that is in this book, and while $23 seems like a lot for a book it is worth it. For goodness sake a college textbook filled with nonsense you will never use costs between $80 and $300 and is mandatory. This book is worth it. That being said if you are still not sure, you can go to youtube, he has two channels, Aaron Clarey is the first and the second is Older Brother. Both are worth your time and attention. Review: I Wish I Read This In High School - I was first aware of this book because it was represented as the basis for some MGTOW videos I watched on YouTube. I went ahead and sampled the introduction, and I found that the author presented a lot of things I could agree with. I thought that if he and I have similar opinions on the same material, perhaps he did some leg work for me and I can just read up on what he already laid out. This is precisely what happened. It was a nice, casual read, and an eye-opener. It applies for young men as well as men like me approaching their 40s. I disagree with the author on some of the points he made, but I'm the type of guy who looks to continue to benefit from other people's thoughts even when I disagree with a few others they have presented. My favorite part was where he confirmed something I had already come up with independently on my own. I was unsure of my determination that Western women as a whole are low-quality people, but that was my theory. When I read his analysis of women, it sent shockwaves through me because it validated my own thoughts. It's easy to doubt yourself when you disparage an entire sex of an entire nation. When I read about his experiences and saw how they paralleled my own limited dating experiences, I felt like I'm not alone on this planet. And reading about his other experiences helped me understand my own role in the world. I'm sort of following in his footsteps in some ways. I'm an interesting bachelor with a large and growing skill set. I have a very exciting life. And despite my own feelings about women, like him I haven't completely given up on finding someone special. This "most interesting man in the world" legend is based on a social role a man can enter into if his behaviors match the MGTOW bachelor that he is teaching you to become. He's teaching you common sense. He's teaching you how not to screw up. So sit back, learn from the guy, and enjoy a good, sloppy read straight from his heart complete with the spelling and grammar mistakes that prove it's both authentic and genuine, and not a polished team effort from a publisher trying to make sure not to offend anyone.

Better Late Than Never!
Have you ever said [or heard] the lament: "I wish life came with an instruction manual!"? Well, here it is. Aaron Clarey delivers an excellent guidebook detailing how to navigate the minefield we call life. At least from the male perspective. Which is the point. Women get way too much [mis]information, while men get nothing. And who's fault is this? Men's. We've never taken women's issues seriously, thus ignoring the threat of feminism. And since we're naturally competitive we NEVER share helpful information with other men, nor do we band together and strategize. So after 50 years of leftist and feminist policies running the show, we find ourselves in dire straits, both nationally and privately. But enough of MY laments. Let's talk about this book. While no ONE book can ever tell you everything you need to know about Life, the Universe and Everything, Bachelor Pad Economics manages to be a great primer and guide to at least get you thinking and walking down the right path[s]. Should you build a library of such books, THEN you might have Everything You Need To Know. Having read this book I KNOW what Aaron says is at least 96% accurate. [I can't speak to all the financial stuff, since I haven't done much of these things and thus my knowledge is sketchy at best. But it does SOUND good.] The information [for me] breaks down like this: 40% of this stuff I have already done, to my benefit. 40% I knew I SHOULD have done, but didn't and now wish that I had. 20% of this stuff I never knew and wish that I had. That's 100% of GOOD information in one resource. This is not hyperbole. I constantly nodded my head, pumped my fist in the air and shouted, "YES! Exactly right!" while reading this book. Had I had this book when young, or at least some MAN in my life telling me these things, I could have avoided MANY mistakes. But alas, it's too late for me. And if you're a middle aged man, or older, this book comes too late for you as well. HOWEVER, if you're under the age of 30, AND you haven't already destroyed your life beyond repair, then this book is right on time and you'd better freaking READ IT! It WILL save you a TON of heartache, wasted time and finances. I've two young sons in this category and I've purchased two copies of this book for them. I've taught and guided them well, but obviously I don't know everything and I can't always be there to stop them from doing something foolish. Whereas a good book just might do the trick. I advise all fathers to do likewise for your boys. Oh, and buy them even MORE books along this line. Build a freaking library. That's what I'm doing. I owe them that.

The younger you are, the better it will help you
Although a bit vague in spaces to be considered a 'complete' guide, Clarey has made one that can suit the life styles of almost any man. Clarey covers almost all bases from cradle to grave: women/dating, marriage, child rearing, financial planning, education, retirement etc... and espouses a broad range of good advice well suited to his frequently overlooked target demographic: men. Its a little bit hard to rate, seeing as it is a reference resource so perhaps as I look back to the book I will mark it up or down accordingly. Still this is a product worth the attention of young men, and well worth the investment for future return in the scheme of life planning. Also a book that gives you a sane voice of rationality amid a sea of white lies can help the more easily tempted to be dissuaded from otherwise life ruining pursuits.

I wish Iโd had this book ten years ago. Would have saved me a lot of time and money.
Bachelor Pad Economics does what no one else in the manosphere has done โ a cradle to grave compendium of useful advice, coming from Aaron Clareyโs characteristic sensibilities. BPE goes into college and career/entrepreneurship planning (like what makes a worthless degree and why you should avoid them), the red flags of relationship and divorce (how a crazy woman can set you back tens of thousands of dollars, and how to spot one), how to improve your general happiness (people before things), and finally finishing with economic theory and end of life advice (how to leave your kids better off after youโve passed). The nuggets of wisdom could save a guy a lot of headaches and money down the road, and, even though itโs a given that some of the topics found inside may not interest everyone, on the whole Clarey lays out a useful life strategy. Those whoโve read Enjoy the Decline and Worthless will find some of overlap between this book and its predecessors. BPE doesnโt go into great detail on those subjects, and instead gives the reader a general (but useful) understanding of the material without making the original books obsolete. Readers familiar with Clarey will not be surprised to find his usual style intact here. Those who already agree with his views wonโt find much contention. However, those who donโt know of the manosphere in general, or Clareyโs stances specifically, might be a little put off when they appear in the book, especially in the sections on women and relationships. My advice to people to donโt like political incorrectness and generalities: ignore the parts you donโt like and keep reading. Even though there might be sections that you donโt agree with, there still are a lot of gems to be found. No one is going to give you the straight dope when it comes to life advice because thereโs no money in bad news. Everyone wants to read books that pat their head and give them nice, comfy, convenient, not-too-hard-to-follow life tips. Bachelor Pad Economics does not do that. It doesnโt pretend to care about your feelings. That is why itโs solid advice.

and it pretty much nails it
"a reference guide for men of all ages" is the stated goal of this book, and it pretty much nails it. Most writers pick a single topic and write about that, so you'll get a whole book on Stock picking, or Personal Finance. This book covers the basics a chapter at a time and gives you a 100 level education on the basic life skills most people learn the hard way. why I recommend this book. If you're 17 or 18 years old, and getting ready to enter the real world. In a brief moment you're expected to go from a special snowflake to a grown adult. And the odds are that you haven't been properly prepared for reality. You don't understand the nature of work, or wealth. You don't know how to find housing or buy a car. You are also expected to pick a major and commit your time and future earnings to an institution that will give you the credentials in any topic you choose, whether or not it will benefit you in the long run. Buy the book. If you're in your early 20's and either dropped out of school or you're credentialed now you need to figure out how to get that job and how to start spending your new found wealth. Buy this book. If you're in your late 40's, divorced and sitting in your rented apartment, trying to figure out where you went wrong. Buy this book. And give it to your son during your next visitation. Buy yourself a copy, it can't hurt.

Solid Life Advice
I wish I had read this when I was 23 or younger. My life would be completely different for me as I wouldโve made movements that were more informed. Even if I was too immature and undisciplined, Iโdโve at least had the knowledge to pool my resources into. Fortunately I didnโt completely collapse then so the information is such that I can act on it now, a decade later. I recommend it to all men (and women) of all ages because the book is a goldmine of general life wisdom. Do yourself the favor of being well informed so that you can maximize the joy of your life and protect not only yourself, but your family

A most wonderfully bitter pill to swallow.
This book is one of the most practical life guides that I've had the privilege to read. Aaron Clary does not mince words, and I love that he addresses the idea that having kids is a CHOICE, not a necessity. He gets really gritty and if you're overly sensitive he just may ruffle your feathers. Literally every aspect of life is covered, from worthless degrees to the decline of western civilization. He is a true man in a wilderness of wildly feminine life advice. His podcast is amazing, as well, so I'd highly advise that you check it out. He sounds like Randal from Clerks and he is just as hilarious, but also mixes in solid economics and live advice. 10 thumbs up. If this book could be placed in the hands of 16 year olds everywhere, civilization might have a chance to survive.

Well written and very useful
An excellent book that details how to deal with financial issues at all stages of life. Unlike other books that speak to you as if you already have history with investing and the lingo used within those circles, this book takes the time to explain it in real-world terms that can be understood by the layman. It works very well as a reference book, not reading through in one go but reading it when you need it. Thinking about house buying? Car? Investing? Maybe just not going broke? It's all in it's own separate section that's easy to find. Highly recommend to any man, young or old.

Lives up to the expectations and more!
You REALLY need to buy this book if you are under 30 and a man, or aspire to become one. The fact that this book hasn't blown up is strong evidence that society today needs this book badly or not at all. Spoiler alert: it is the former.

This is the kind of knowledge school should teach us
I'm glad I read this book at 28 y.o, even if 10 years sooner would have been amazing. I feel like having acquired 20 years of life experience in 2 weeks. I now know how to avoid the biggest mistakes of life, and I understand the world and myself way better. Thank you Aaron !!
