The One Year Bible NKJV (Softcover)

Excellent choice, makes it super easy to read a little bit each day and finish the entire bible in 1 year!

This Bible is broken down into sections that can be read at your leisure…when you have a few minutes to spare or to read to someone. I find it relaxing.

I read through the Bible every year, though I admit I missed some years in the last 2-3 decades. However, after using various plans on PC, online, Kindle and print media, my favorite remains the One Year Bible for the very simple reason that it provides the best daily mix. When you get to the more tedious parts of, say, Leviticus or Numbers, you have less of it to mull through each day since you will also be reading excerpts from Psalms. Proverbs and the New Testament. Yes, I know, there are also lessons to be learned from the tedious parts, too - though some takes a bit of digging to discern - but that is rather the point of reading the Bible in its entirety. Taking some in smaller segments helps, though. I also love that the OYB is available in multiple translations. For next year, I added the NKJV as my primary text so this OYB with a nice price was worth it to me, even though I recently bought a nice genuine leather edition NKJV (not OYB) for study/church use. The OYB is specifically for reading the bible through in a year, but would be awkward to use for general Bible purposes. It is ideal as a reading plan, and I'm ready to start in January - easy to know where you left off and how much you need to catch up when life makes you miss a day or two, sine each date is in bold print, followed by the readings for that day. I have also had it in the NASB and KJV editions in the past. In 2018, I may get the ESV edition. I have just about every plan out there, and the OYB provides the best, most varied, arrangement by far. At least that has been my experience. In my opinion it is the best choice, especially for those who begin with good intentions but tend to get bogged down and abandon the plan when the going gets tough. Not every book can be as interesting, dramatic or exciting as Esther or Samuel in their entirety. If you've never read the bible completely through, this plan may well represent the best chance for completion.

My husband and I read the yearly bible together and love it! We can read through the bible in one year with these daily reading starting Jan1st all the way through to Dec 31st. We want to be full of truth and ready for Jesus coming! Get the one year bible and be filled with truth!!!

Everyone should read it!!!

An easy to understand and read One Year Bible. For me I enjoy it so much I read as much as I want everyday instead of just one day at a time. I believe this is a good starter Bible for everyone. Enjoy walking and talking with God daily! God Bless You.

Give scriptures from Old Testament new testament psalms and proverbs for daily readings.

I loved it. It allowed me to read scripture daily. Recommend to anyone just trying to read a little something of scripture everyday.
