This is a great clock. Nice upgrade from the version I have seen in many hotels. I like the USB and AC Outlets it brings to the top of my night stand. I originally gave this product 3 stars because I had problems with the wireless charger. I got a brand new iPhone 8 in Oct 2018, just a few days after getting this clock. If cellular is turned on, the phone causes the clock to reboot during charging. Sometimes it reboots every few seconds and other times it reboots a couple times an hour. After a reboot, the time is still correct but the alarm defaults to off. Even with the reboots, my iPhone charged off the clock. If I turn off cellular, then everything works great. I contacted Brandstand. There customer service was great and responsive. They replaced the clock for me. New one had the same problem. They are working to resolved the problem. The technician I was talking to has an iPhone 8 and has no problems so at the moment they are not sure why I'm having this problem. If I get additional information, I will post it here. Update: Upgraded to 5 stars on 11/26/2018... Grandstand corrected the problem and now it charges my iPhone 8 with no problem. This is a really great product now!!!

Gets the job done. Easy to set-up, and the nice part is the Off button is the middle button on the rear wheel, while the snooze button is up front. Had two USB-C ports on the front despite the image here, and the two 110 V plugs that my kid uses to plug in an LED table light and a Google speaker are a nice addition. Some alarm clocks put the snooze and the off button too close together and it's easy for a drowsy person to shut it off by accident. My kid snoozes this one and not once shut it off on accident. Great design and does what it needs to do without being over-the-top.

We found a slightly different model of this clock in our cruise ship suite, and liked it so much we ordered this model — with the wireless charger on top — for our home. Otherwise, both clocks were essentially the same. Much to like about it: The twin USB ports conveniently located in front for charging. Two easily accessible 110v outlets on top for use with other devices or appliances. An attractive and dimmable time display. Well-designed, good quality, and compact size. Note that the unit is a little heavy (a good thing) and the power cord is substantial guage in order to support high-wattage appliances (an iron, hair dryer, etc.) that might be plugged in to it. For that reason, I gave it only 4 stars for travel, as it would be a little heavy and bulky in a piece of luggage. And though some reviewers feel its wireless charging seems slow, in our experience an iPhone showing less than 5% power is fully charged when placed on top of the unit overnight.

The Brandstand CubieTrio is one of those frustrating devices that try to do everything with two buttons. Hold snooze for 6 seconds until year flashes. Turn the thumb wheel to set the year. Press alarm button. Repeat for month, day, and finally time. Get anything wrong and you have to start over. You have to spin the thumb wheel forever to set the time. Snooze also dims the display, so if you press it in the wrong sequence the display goes black. The alarm is easier to set. Press the alarm button. Turn the thumb wheel to set the alarm. Press the alarm button. Press the alarm button again to shut it off, but when you do, the alarm defaults to 6:00 am. That means that you have to reset the alarm every night! The clock comes with the heaviest power cord I've ever seen. Thicker than on my table saw. The battery backup is an expensive coin battery, and you need a screwdriver to change it. I like the look of the clock, and I like that the USB ports are on the bottom front and not on top by the snooze alarm. But the clock is frustrating to set, and having to reset the alarm every night ruins the clock for me. I will be returning it.

My brother absolutely loves it! Easy to use and industrial quality! He looked this one up after using one at a hotel and put it on his wish list. Exactly what he wanted!

I’ve had this a few months, and discovered this brand of alarm clock at a hotel I stayed at. I thought to myself, and wanted to see if they had one with wireless charging...they did!! When the wireless charger works it’s great, but lately I’ve noticed it doesn’t keep charging. The second time this happened was last night. I ensured this time it was actively charging, and it stayed like that for 30 seconds with me watching it. I woke up to half my phone being charged after it sitting there for over 8 hours. It’s far enough away on my nightstand where I couldn’t have bumped it; the charger does require specific placement. My nightstand is heavy enough to no cause it to move from a bump. There were no power outages, and the charging display on the clock disappeared which means it’s not charging. I’m not sure why this happened a couple of times. I guess this is good as a top off charger, and it might get to the point to where I don’t trust it to charge my phone.When it works it’s a nice addition. Simple to set up, and the material is high quality plastic with a heavy cord. I also liked you can plug something through it’s plug, so that you’re not wasting a wall outlet. Very sturdy feeling alarm clock. Update 1/17/2020: I attempted to change the orientation of charging my iPhone X from a horizontal to a vertical position. It worked for less than a week, and now I am back to where I was. The alarm clock has become unreliable to me especially when I woke up to a phone that stopped charging using this device. When I use other wireless charging products it works fine, and I had to dig out my old charger. I changed the rating to 2 stars because I originally bought it for its durability, but the no-working wireless charging was why I picked this item. Other things I have tried was watching the clock for about a minute before going to bed to ensure the light on the clock's display shows the "qi" symbol, and the symbol holds solid until sometime during the night. I also made sure it showed my phone was charging on my phone's screen.

This is well-made and durable. The clock is easy to read and can be dimmed to a low level so that it does not disturb you when you are sleeping. The only minor drawback, is that you cannot plug to USB devices in at the same time. It only supplies power for one device at a time.
