Fits perfectly
Bought this to help my husband who struggles with gripping things and has a tendency to drop his tablet often. He has dropped his tablet since using this protector so it’s very durable and done its job perfectly. It’s very sturdy, it has all relevant gaps to fit the tablets functions i.e power lead, camera, head phone socket etc and is at a great price too, well worth the price paid.

Well build and competent - just be aware of the shortcomings
This product is designed to protect the Microsoft Surface Go - a job it does well. However, because the Surface Go, by design, is a versatile device and cannot be tied down to a single form (think kickstand and type cover), the case is left somewhat helpless in certain areas. The plastic the case is made of is study and I have no doubt it can take every drop and hit it is rated to. The hand grip is excellent - it makes it easy to hold the tablet with confidence. The pen grip is not amazing. I find it to be a little too tight and difficult to get the pen in and out of, but this is not a major problem since you can just use a little more force - or if you are afraid to break the pen, just slide it in and out from the top of the grip. The biggest problem - and not one that is entirely the manufacturer's fault is that the bottom half of the tablet has little to no protection, since the kickstand and type cover pogo pins are located there. There is a thin strip of the black plastic on the bottom behind the type cover, but this could be bent or moved out of the way if the device drops and slips - which might leave the tablet at risk. I'm not sure if there is anything the manufacturer could do about this, but it is something to be aware about. This is visible from the item photographs. In summary - this product is competent and successful, albeit at a higher price than I think is justifiable. That being said - there are very few cases for the Surface Go that offer what this one offers.

Lasted 6 months before it broke. Vendor replaced FoC and follow up was excellent.
My daughter used this for 6 months of regular use but it then broke, however as soon as I flagged this, the vendor was in touch to replace free-of-charge.

Just the job
I've used this for a month and a half now so I have got used to it and developed a sense of how it performs - and it does really well. The Surface on its own is great but a little awkward to hold because of accidentally touching the screen so this cover not only protects the tablet, it makes it easier to hold at little weight penalty.Although it seems a little flimsy when unpacking, it's actually sturdy and fits perfectly. I do struggle a little to get the charger plug to engage but it does work after a bit of fiddling. The simple rubber clip to keep the keyboard closed works well too. So far, I've not tested the impact resistance but the material does feel strong enough. The button covers on the top are good too, with no hindrance to their use.Others have mentioned the pen clip but I've found that it does loosen a little after a while and with a bit of practice, it's not a problem at all. At least the pen won't fall out and developing a technique for pushing the pen in and removing it is easy enough; just make sure that you apply the pressure on the pen close to the clip and not at the ends of the pen. I found the nib of the pen caught my hand when it was clipped in but then I had the staggeringly brilliant idea of putting the pen in upside down. Problem solved. My only niggle - it's not enough to call it a complaint - is the hand strap on the back is a little tight. Even so, it is very useful to have. Oh, and some of the corners benefit from running a sharp blade along them to take the edge off but that could just be my tactile preference.I'd definitely recommend this item.

Happy
I really like this case for my surface go, although it's a bit expensive for what it is.
