iJDMTOY Aluminum Paddle Shifter Extensions Compatible with Subaru BRZ Impreza WRX Legacy XV Crosstrek Red Matte Finish

Obtained these for a Crosstrek; I use the paddles daily, especially for downshifting. So far, the 3m gooey tape has held firmly in place (over a month in southern heat) with heavy use, they were easy to fasten, look really great, have a good solid feel, do not interfere with the stick controls, providing clearance for medium large hands even while wearing gloves, and had a great price point. They are handy when upshifting while turning and are a great compliment to the STI pedals. Subaru could probably sell these for at least a hundred bucks installed!

They feel heavy and sturdy which is great! Color was spot on and looks good! Was somewhat skeptical how the double sided tape was going to hold but so far so good

Install is stupid proof, really high quality, and most importantly, they look awesome!

Packaging was good, given the price.Installation is straightforward though no instructions were included. Clean the parts with alcohol, apply the two sided tape and stick it on. I hit the part with a heat gun to promote adhesion.Gunmetal nicely matches the faux metal accents in my 2015 Forester XT.The rear is flat, not curved like the smaller factory paddles, so there is some loss of comfort. These have significant weight and change the tactile feel of the paddles somewhat. I really wish the back was curved.The ability to simultaneously turn and shift is improved, especially first to second shifts when turning from a stop sign or red light.Much lower price than Subispeed and the other Subaru specific shops.

These extensions are amazing! They look amazing and they make shifting much easier when turning.

I always get the paddle shifter extensions for all my Subaru. They are great and work well. They fit well in the shifters. I always put them on and leave them and won't touch them for 2-3 days. From that point the adhesion is great. If you use the paddle shifters they feel great and are comfortable. If you don't use the shifters these are still great and make your car look good.

Just finished installing it on my 2017 WRX. It has a nice weight to it and feels like it’s pretty good quality. Fits perfectly. Adhesive is provided in the package to secure it to the shifters. The red is just like how it is shown in the pictures.

They look cool, they seem pretty sturdy and durable on their own. The only thing I didn't like, and didn't expect is that they stay on with double sided tape. I should have paid more attention to them when I bought them. I'll have to wait for subispeed to get theirs restocked.If you look around more, you can find some that stay in place with screws, which I'd recommend over taping them to your paddles.

Held up great in -30c weather, and even this spring where my cars interior hit 35c. Looks great, very high quality, and also practical for when I took my WRX to the track.
