This spacer is the only way you can emboss with the grand caliber, and I think it should be included in the initial package.When demonstrating, people use the pink plate, but mine will not go through the machine with that one. I have noted othercomments about this problem in the reviews.Makers please take note.However the raspberry spacer works well.

Very solid plate and looks likely to survive better than the thin shims I've been using prior to getting this item.Had to play with the plate stack on different dies but this is not unusual.Recommended

I bought these as replacement plates, if you are not using grand dies then these smaller plates are far quicker to use and easier to get perfect cuts as you can turn them multiple ways without taking the sandwich apart.

The reason I choose the Grand Calibur spacer was that I use my grand Calibur a lot and sometimes I need the spacer for different dies. I would recommend this to all grand-Calibur users.

Definite time saver! I had the large plates that came with my grand caliber but the smaller plates are much easier to use and easier to feed through.

Am using these mats but not completely happy. The impression embeds into the rubber mat. Also picks up lint tooooooo easily and doesn'tcome off easy. I have used some spellbinders dies and embossing folders. Don't think spellbinder is my favorite manufacturer.

I actually have not used this Jr plate as of yet. I have the 9x12 and it works great to emboss with folders. This one should produce the same results.
