Terrific and EASY way to hang 'stringed' frames!
I've always disliked hanging frames that used the string on the back. I could never get them to hang straight, and they moved too easily once I got it on the wall perfectly. This item is so perfect, and so easy to use, and completely makes hanging things a breeze. I've been a huge fan of their Walldog screws for some time - I use them for everything. They're included with this kit. I measure the distance from the string to the top of the frame. Decide where the frame goes on the wall, and measure back down again. Center it, and screw the mount in (use a little torpedo level to keep it straight). Takes all of 2 minutes, and it's never going anywhere. The string is well captured and won't easily be removed accidentally, but if you want to remove the frame it comes right off with an easy vertical lift of a few inches. I couldn't be happier. I used my 2-pack in one day and ordered more.

Solid hanger and helps keep pictures straight.
Easy to install and because it is a wide shelf, not a nail head, pictures stay level on the wall better. I have never had an issue with one coming off the wall. I do not live in an earthquake area, but I would hope they would keep items on the wall better. Excellent quality, solid design. The price varies on Amazon, I paid 7.99. A decent value, would be nicer if it was less.

Success hanging a very heavy antique mirror
I waited for months to hang a very heavy antique mirror. The mirror weighs over 60 pounds and goes over a big antique sideboard. It has a thick brass frame, and thick wood backing. I imagined it pulling any nail or hanging hardware right out of the wall. This tool really works. It's extremely stable and easy to install. What a relief to get this done!

Works as advertised.
Got this to hang a old mirror that's around 40lbs in a 100 year old house and works great.

Great Wire Hanger
Was looking for hanging options for a large framed Jersey and right wise I wouldn't trust just screws and drywall across. Came across this item and picked it up as the price was low and carried good reviews and specs. First impression after receiving, item looked and felt high quality, especially so for the price. It's extremely simple to use, I did drill into a stiff with mine and also added the friction bumpers to help prevent movement and item shifting. Screws went right in, made sure not to overtighten per instructions, and I could feel that mount was not moving which is great. On the rear of my frame I'm using steel wire attached to d hooks - I initially left a lot of space to get the Jersey hung on the hook. Then began slowly tightening the string as I wanted to until it was taught and the string was no longer visible. Shifted the frame slightly to even it out (hanger was already leveled before screwing in the wall Has not moved it shifted. I have 3 more for other projects to hang, will definitely purchase more as needed. Great all around.

Great for hanging a heavy mirror. Comes with dry wall screws for good support.

Easy to Use - Seems Secure
I used this hanger to hang a mirror I bought here at Amazon, the Ashley Furniture Signature Design - Oengus Arched Window Finished Metal Mirror - Traditional - Bronze Finish. I weighed the mirror and it was just under 36 pounds. I used wire I bought here for the back of the mirror - 9' Hanging Wire Size: 100 lbs. Although this was my first time putting wire on the back of anything and hanging a heavy mirror by myself, it was very easy to hang. I highly recommend this hanger. It's 3", so it's impossible to get both screws in a stud unless you are lucky enough to find a double stud, but I did put one end in a stud and the other end just in the drywall. Seems very sturdy. The plastic balls provided with the hanger were perfect to keep the bottom of the mirror from sliding around once hung. I will use this again.

Easiest way to hang a monstrous mirror ever!
We recently moved, and I very nearly left a large mirror behind because I knew the ordeal lying ahead: hanging it in the new place—which happens to be 150+ years old, with thick plaster walls. My kids snuck the mirror onto the truck, and rather than stub my toe on it every time I walked by the place it was tucked between furniture and wall, I decided to find a decent hanger. The Hangman had that thing up and hanging inside 5 minutes—and the only help I needed was lifting the actual mirror so that one set of hands could hold the hanging wire out to catch on the device. I hate reviews in which people describe all the ways they do things differently (You know the ones I’m talking about: “This recipe is terrible! I didn’t have butter, so I used coconut oil, and I also substituted cornflakes for all of the flour—and the damn pie crust didn’t roll out! Damn that Martha Stewart—her recipes suck!”) BUT- I did do one thing differently because I hit a stud. Sure, I could have moved the whole thing an inch or so, but ... well, I’m the one who was going to leave a beautiful mirror behind because I was too lazy to hang it, in the first place. I tried making a pilot hole with a nail—then discovered the nail held 1000 times better than a screw in drywall would have held, so figured, “good enough!” And left it. So, one side of my Hangman is secured with a long nail in a stud. With drywall? I wouldn’t do this. But we have walls of steel, and the stud made it safe. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are two hangers & enough screws to hang two large items, which I wasn’t expecting (but prob is listed in the description; did I mention I was blasé about this endeavor?) I’m really happy to have an extra in my tool box, for the next big item that stymies me. This is a great product, at a great price. Shipped lightning-fast in just the right amount of packing material. 👍🏼 👍🏼

sturdy and keeps picture straight
Finally an easy to use picture hanger designed to keep the picture exactly as you place it. Yes the holes are larger than a nail but a dab of filler before you repaint is the same for small or larger holes.
