Event Cameras ROCKS! Hoya too!
This is a great HOYA lens Cap for my Fuju X-100F! Following Ken Rockwell's advice, I'm outfitting my X-100F just like his and getting back into everyday photgraphy. This Vendor, Event Cameras, shipped my Hoya 49mm HD2 USPS First-class (with tracking), in a VERY nice, slick looking, padded envelope, with additional protective padding wrapped around the factory fresh, sealed package. I can't tell you much about the lens other than that its a very high quality product in all aspects and I expect it to perform as well as Ken Rockwell's identical lens.Ken uses the Hoya HD2 as a transparent lens cap over a spacer made from a glass-less filter holder. Not haviing a spare 49mm filter to scavage, I bought a Hoya, garden variety, circularly polarizing filter for $5.70 on Amazon and removed the glass by shattering it with my drill press and a pipe coupler. Easy to do and very tidy. If you have a Fugi X-100 F, you ought to read Ken's Review. That says it all.

useful even in lower light situations
Definitely worth the money for this higher level HD2 over all the cheaper alternatives out there. I have noticed the increase in light transmission, useful even in lower light situations. Feels higher quality as well
