Safe Paw Pet-Safe Ice Melt, Salt & Chloride-Free Deicer, 35 Lbs

I used Safe Paw throughout the winter on my driveway, sidewalk, and steps, and it gave me very good results. It melts ice quickly, and I was particularly impressed with the traction agent. It made the treated surfaces feel much safer to walk on, especially on steps and other areas where slipping is a concern. Another major advantage is how clean it is. I had no noticeable residue after the ice melted, unlike conventional rock salt, which can leave a mess on concrete. I also had no negative impact on my concrete, grass, or plants. Overall, I prefer Safe Paw over traditional salt because it is fast-acting, provides excellent traction, and doesn't leave the same post-melt residue. I had no problems or disappointments with it. 5/5 stars. I will definitely buy it again.

I've brought this many times. This stuff works amazingly thats probably why its always sold out in pet stores. I got this before our big ice storm. I use it for my handicap dog who has problems getting up and down the stairs when its icy. It has never hurt the dogs and puppy. Best stuff on the market. My 1 complaint is when I ran out, I went to buy it again, 1st wk of December it 80+ dollars for this 38lbs bucket when I ran out after our ice storm, I went to purchase it again and it was 129. Than dropped to 107.. ridiculous if u ask me, thats price gauging I brought the smaller containers that were cheaper. But to increase the price that way was very hurtful to many. Besides that product is fantastic

Have used this before. Good if you put it down before it snows or ice but not as much after. I like that it's safe for animals and my plants.

Not a great product. Yes it eventually melts snow/ice and it’s “safe” around pets. But if you need to go out leave enough time for this product to work.

A little expensive, but this ice melt is safe for my dog and works great on my wood deck without destroying my deck recommended

I wanted a non-toxic anti-ice product for my driveway as I have dogs and hens. When I first looked at the product I really had my doubts about how effective it might be. Boy, was I wrong. It works like a charm! You can see it start to work within seconds - and it carries on working - re-freeze doesn't happen, walkways are not slippery and the dogs don't have sore paws. Its brilliant. Will definitely make sure I don't run out.
