I have this lip color in all four colors and absolutely love them. They are my lip stains of choice for all occasions. They hydrate, are long lasting and have lovely colors. The peach is my favorite, but I love them all.

I feel like I’ve been looking for a lipstick that looked like this my entire life and I finally found it! It lasts all day and even when it does eventually wear off, my lips are still a beautiful stained red. On top of that, it is very hydrating which is a must for me! I’m a customer for life

This is a great lip stain. I have used it for many years and have tried several colors. I love that. I still have color on my lips hours after applying it. It does begin to wear off about halfway through my day, so I usually reapply it about midday. I have never tried using it on my cheeks, so I can’t say how it works as a cheek stain.

This lip stain does stain pretty well..on me it last about 3 to 4 hrs. Furthermore it is pretty moisturizing which is a bonus. Those are the pros about it. I knocked off two Stars due to the following... I have to apply several layers to get a darker color and the color is not red at all...it is more orange or coral. I was hoping it would be more of a reddish tint. I have attached pictures so that you can see the color of it when applied. The stick part got stuck to the cap the first day...but I just put it back in... however, for $25 I would expect it to be a little better made. Given that I have 5 dollar ones that have never done that. Additionally...for the price it seems a bit steep for the size and above mentioned quality. But, I am not saying that it is horrible...which is why I gave it three stars... it is a pretty nice stain... but truth be told, I think revlon's lip stains are just as good and three times cheaper. The only reason I tried this one was because I was hoping to find one that actually came out red.

Love it Why is the forever peach more expensive? I have the forever pink and it is glamorous and moisturizing. I keep it in the car so I always have it ready.

UPDATE: I am still happy with my red shade of the Jane Iredale tinted lip balm, and would have loved, as stated in my review, to purchase the peach shade, as well as replace the red as necessary. However, I just noticed that the price has leapt from $17-- already a hefty price for a lip balm--to a whopping $32. That is nearly double the most recent price! As much as I have enjoyed the balm, which I often keep in my skirt pocket for quick access, I don't want prospective customers to read my review under the impression that I was willing, far less able, to pay such a price for the quality. I had already been feeling more than a little guilty for paying what I did. If you are in a position to toss out $32 for a lip balm, more power to you--read on for a fair, honest, and favorable review, that I hope serves as useful in your decision. However, do note that I paid just a little more than half of the current price, and in no circumstances would I consider this product to be worth $32 (nor do I believe the company to be acting fairly--or from necessity--in initiating such a hike in price). So worth the extra money for a non-greasy balm that gives my lips and cheeks that perfect flush of sheer color. I tried the red, which as others have pointed out, is less red and more coral in tone. This shade isn't phony and bright; it is a natural-looking color that can be built up slightly--by half a shade, say. I find the formula to glide on softly and my lips stay moisturized all day with just a couple of applications. I will definitely try the orange one next, but for now am happy to let this balm take over my minimal makeup regime: A little eyebrow definition, then a bit of this sheer color on the lips and apples of my cheeks.
