Garnier Olia Luminous Long-Lasting Hair Colour, 9.11 Silver Smoke

Nice hair colour but for some reason it ends up the colour it should not be . I think it's my own hair .

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I must for this hair dye!I was quite worried when it was applied as it went bright purple but don’t panic! It does wash off! It’s left my hair a beautiful lavender silver which I absolutely adore!Top tip! Make sure your hair is light enough before applying and if your roots are freshly bleached then apply the colour last so it doesn’t stick so much. Make sure you leave it for the allotted 30mins otherwise it might be patchy! If I’m doubt, do a strand test to see what it looks like

Gloves- too tight and feels like I was trying to squeeze my hand into a mini bin bag.Developer- comes in a day tube and is less a quarter full for such a big awkward to squeeze bottle.Dye- I love the colour !! When it goes on your hair you will think OMG what have I done !! It looks like blue ink and I found hard to spread. The blue washes off when rinsing to a beautiful lavender grey!! I used two and need another to cover missed areas as I found it dries quick ( could be my damaged hair though due to other products)I pre lightened my hair using an L9 ( 9level lift lightner) it got it to a yellow (bright) then I used this dye the day after.My roots left me a little bit disappointed as they didn't fully take grey or lavender but lightened enough to blend in.I will use again ) I hope it doesn't fade as the blueish tone is what makea it look nice honestly. Icey tones in the light look stunning.

I left this in my hair for the recommended 30 minutes. My hair was bleached blonde a week or so before colouring.Yes it did go Purple after about 5 minutes. Was I worried……no.After washing it out, shampooing/conditioning then drying, I absolutely loved it…..looked a little Purple in places and a darker Silver in others.I will say for me, the colour does lighten up after a few washes (daily washing) but it’s still a light Silver nearly 3 weeks after colouring.The conditioner is great, smells nice.Another bought to colour my hair when I think it needs it.

What a JOKE! my mate who is qualified in colour and works in Sallys was recommended this and we thought we'd give it a go. We've been doing grey/silver on my hair for months and used professional products usually, Done everything as usual all normal no bleach on my root, We put in this and she says it's starting to go purple?! We think it must be to cancel out any yellow tones in the hair. WRONG!!! Not only is my hair now purple but the root that was left was also lifted/bleached!!!!! My natural dark hair is now lifted 2 shades lighter and ginger but the products doesn't so called use bleach? BullS**t!!!! Nowhere on the package doest it say it has any kind of lightener! I now have 3 options leave it purple let it fade out and dye my roots wich will afect any future colour, strip and damage my hair and start again or put a all over colour on it when Iv finally got the silver I wanted and liked. Not happy!!!!! I now have ginger roots and purple hair!!!! Had to give it a one star I wouldn't give it any!

Written after I bought and used the silver - have also bought Deep Rose and Rose Gold - this feedback in terms of the length the colour lasts is the same for all 3As per the headline, it did exactly as I hoped and went on easily, it came out a slightly smoky lilac-y silver but then it was over the top of Olia Deep RoseThey take well, they're easy to useBUT THEY DON'T LAST LONGMine was delivered on July 4th, used on July 5th and this feedback is added on July 16th - it's 90% gone .... I'm now just a light ash blond again. I could do it again, but needing to dye my hair once a fortnight is not what the product promises so big mark down on the score

Lovely hair dye

Kind to hair and the conditioner can be used for ages after hair has been coloured. OLEA is my go to product gor hair colour this shade lovely and the shine on hair amazing.
