David Clark H10-13H Headset (for helicopters)

I bought this pair for work to maintain military helicopters. Note that the M-7A microphone (comes standard with this set) does NOT work with low impedence intercoms. You can hear just fine, but when you key the mic there will be nothing. Luckily, the mic boom is the expected 2-pin male connector for most microphones. I attached an M-87 (now the DC87) microphone and it worked seemlessly. Had to shave down the plastic housing at the end to fit a mic that normally is held on a swivel boom, which was no problem to me, as the two tiny set screws hold the pins in place just fine. Overall, really nice headset. I am not sure if the price is really justifiable, but i certainly do not have complaints about the build quality and comfort
