I bought this to use in my garage where I only have one light bulb socket. I previously had a fluorescent light bulb but there were areas where the light wasn’t reaching. Popped this in as a replacement and I have to say I’m very impressed with how bright it is! I can finally find items in my garage at night. It’s actually so bright that your vision may get fuzzy for a couple seconds if you look at it. There is a low whirring sound coming from the fan so you know it is spinning.

Purchased these bulbs for my office and warehouse. I read the review before ordering them and noticed the nosie from base fans. Actually losing heat can increase the LED's life evidently. My previous bulbs on the garage that I purchased from other seller only lasted one month. They were works well and super bright but they just burned out didn't last too long on this summer.For these bulbs, I think fans is a good solution for losing heat. I installed them on the ceiling. My colleague didn't noticed the fans whirring until I pointed out to them. This bulb is pretty quite if you mount it on the places that you can keep away from （10 ft would be enough）or noisy public places. I purchased them because they have good heat dissipating and seller offer 1-year warranty as well. I am happy with them so far.

Update - 12/31/18 - The company has contacted me and offered to replace my broken lights. I do really like the lights as they're so bright and have many neat features, so them reaching out to replace my last purchase means a lot. Five stars for great customer service and the lights too.Sometime in December - I've purchased a total of four of these lights. Two at one point and the other two at another time. Of the first two, one broke. Still works but is in pieces and won't stay put back together. The other two that I ordered later on (most recently) both came in pieces. One doesn't work altogether.

I have a ceiling fan that came with a light on top of my dining table, a few weeks ago the lighting went totally dead, hence I bought this product to replace. I saw reviews saying it has noise issues before this purchase, but I didn't hear any obvious noise at all in my personal experience. It was putting on the bottom of the ceiling fan, it's a good replacement of the original fanlight. We turn on the fan and the light together most of the time, it's very bright, and I like the color. The picture was taken in the morning, you can see the light cover the entire table area. I will purchase more to replace the other broken light in my office.I think this product is not suitable for bedroom or restroom because it's too bright, that's not a mood for sleep, secondary, the noise can be obvious in a quiet area. Just a suggestion of mine.

I put two of these into protected lights. One was only used a few hours every few days and is still running strong. The other was used more often and longer. After a year and a half it flashed a few times and died. The compact size makes it perfect, for my enclosures, so I re-purchased it.The open top and bottom allow bugs in and that may have contributed to the failure.

Used for a acorn lamp post that I put up for the street. This thing is so blinding that I had to wrap a single layer of baking sheet paper to diffuse the led squares. There's some vents on both the bottom and top of the bulb; can't even hear the fan since it's higher up and enclosed in a acorn globe. Now I can gaze into it, was too blinding previously. A DUI took place and a parked black car landed in my front yard; you can definitely see the street now. My neighbors refuse to turn on their lights and there are no lamp posts in my hood.

I had bought DragonLight & ASIGN brand light bulb in the past.The ASIGN light bulb will not last for after 6 months of using. Example, Half side cannot turn on.Half side cannot turn on. Burn Out within 6 months. The Seller will not honor the 18-months warranty.

The bulb is illuminating and small, and it has a small cooling fan at the bottom. The other bulbs that I have seen, those sizes are much bigger than this one. The product allows me to install it in my small lampshade of the porch light up the entire porch. However I can feel the sound from the bottom fan, but it is not obvious at all. Overall, I think this is a good product, it has reduced the size without losing brightness.
