Good price, easy to fit, great quality sound.
The previous (and original) cartridge on my Linn LV-X arm was sounding dreadful, and without much desire to spend too much money (as I wasn't sure where the fault lay) I opted for this cartidge.Easy to install on the LV-X, and giving excellent results overall, I can heartily recommend the AT-VM95E VM95 - and have no immediate desire to spend more. The sound is wonderfully round and coherent. Detailed yet smooth - played on a Heybrook TT2, put through an A&R A60 and Tannoy Mercury speakers.Great value for money!

Great for Rega Planar P1
Good value compared to the AT-ART9XI at £1299!Makes a noticeable upgrade for my Rega Planar P1 and was easy to fit.The sound has more detail and clarity and better bass compared to the stock cartridge.

A.T knocked the ball out the park with this one
Would give it ten if I could, there is very little difference between this ickle green 💚 monster and the Ortofon blue 💙 except the price, this is fantastic when listening to the early 80s synth eara its bright they let the synths fill the room with midge ures voice booming out O Vienna absolutely banging set this green monster up reet and it will 100% knock ya sox off ya feet i was an oferton snob but not anymore ok this lasts 300 hours but at less than £30 a pop easy to replace the stylus every few months I prefer my tunes to tv averaging 4 hours a day, get it set it up reet and he will suprise you just need to remember to det your pre amp to 47pF as these stylus prefer very low capacitance and use a decent low capacitance sheilded R.C.A cable from your deck especially if your running a Technics SL-1200 GR2 otherwise them symbols on the drum kit will hurt your ears so 4 hours a day i should need a new stylus in around 3 month and it cost less than a decent bottle of vodka 😉

Better than generic...
I'm no audiophile. The trouble with older turntables is when you can no longer get an original stylus. I recently bought a generic replacement and wasn't greatly impressed, it seems to generate quite a lot of noise. So this is option B, easy to fit, easy to set up and much less noise. The only down side is slightly lower output voltage, so sounds a little quieter at your usual setting.I'm happy with this as a replacement.

Legendary quality at a very fair price.
Restoring an old but much loved 1979 piece of Hi-Fi erotica yet again I reached for this cheap but effective cartridge.I always use them on older record decks, usually to replace dead stock items left on years too long.I find the build to be excellent, the price fair and the sound quality to hit far above the price range. It’s not a Koetsu, I have one so I know but it’s one of those rare dependable items that have stood the test of time and won.Highly recommended for those who want a nice crisp sound on a budget.

Sweet music to my ears
Replacement for old one as it had been in the loft for a few years, thought it best to get a new one

Impressive Sound from a Great Value Cartridge
I have recently resurrected my old Akai AP B10C deck and treated it to a new cartridge. The AP B10C is by no means a top of the range deck but with this cartridge the sound is pretty impressive.Excellent value for money

Better than the original it was replacing
I replaced a broken stanton cartridge that came on my Stanton STR8 150 turntable. I had an identical cart that wasnt broken and I A/B'd this new one against the existing one, and the stereo separation was night and day compared to the stock cartridge, the highs were more detailed and it just had far more clarity than before, without sounding clinical. never really played around with different cartridges before but I am glad I did this time

The AT-VM95E punches way above its weight. What a steal.
I picked up the Audio-Technica VM95E recently — not because I needed a new cart (I already run a Nagaoka MP-110) but just to try something new and keep an empty headshell busy.Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I thought it would be a decent backup cart. But this thing seriously surprised me.For the price I paid (~₹3600 / ~$40), it’s ridiculously good. Clear, punchy, well-balanced — more than what I expected from a budget cart. It’s an absolute workhorse.I still love my MP-110 — it’s smooth and warm and great with vocals — but the VM95E has a totally different energy. It’s fast, open, and engaging in a way that makes it hard to ignore. I’m definitely going to be using this regularly, not just as a backup. It’s still early days (just a few hours in), and I know it’ll only open up more with break-in. But even now, I’d say this: don’t go by the price tag — go by what sounds best to your ears. And this little cart delivers.Audio-Technica nailed it with this one. Incredible value for money.
