Help Me! Guide to iPhone 6: Step-by-Step User Guide for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

I am using this book now with my new I-Phone 6-S Plus. I do a chapter a day and I am getting smarter every day. Easy to read. Has examples so you can see what they are talking about. Has places you can make notes if you are forget for so you don't have to reread the entire book to find the answers. Also got the Missing Manual for I-Phones. My daughter who grew up with the I-phone found it very informative. I am not there yet. Have to work on this book first than rate the other one. Get it if you are not of this age. In one day I was fixing things that I had no concept of prior. Every senior who has ventured into the computer phone age should have it.

I am new to the iPhone6. This book has a lot of useful information and was very helpful. The one thing I didn't care for is the index in the back. Nothing seems to be organized. The topics are not grouped together, just random.

This made it pretty easy to get started with iphone. Now that I have upgraded from the 6 I still use this guide.

It did help some in learning to use my new phone. It will be a good reference.

1. The instructions in this book are usually wrong (outdated?) and not helpful for my iPhone 6 Plus. Instead, I search Google for "How to (do whatever) in iPhone 6." 2. It can be difficult to find information in this book. For example, when I look for help with a PICTURE, that term is listed neither in the table of contents nor in the index. So, I must carefully search through both of those sections.

I was really glad to find a book specifically written for the iPhone 6, as most books that I found on Amazon were for all models. There are definitely a few features that appear on the iPhone 6 that are simply not possible on other iPhones. One such feature is the ability to view icons and text in two different views. Because of the large screen, the iPhone 6 also introduced an extended keyboard. I wanted to learn exactly what I could do with this keyboard, and this book helped me to figure out these iPhone 6-specific features. The topics were all very easy to locate using both the general table of contents, as well as the chapter-specific TOC's. I also appreciated the plentiful screenshots. I am a visual person, and having the screenshots made this guide feel a lot more hands-on. That's another thing that is impossible to have in a book covering all iPhones, since the iPhone 6 has certain capabilities that earlier models do not.

Not a costly book, but also not very helpful, especially to new iPhone user.. Doesn't offer enough help to really get through all the different aspects of the iPhone 6. I was left with wanting a bit more extensive discussion of features, how to move back and forth between screens, setting up iCloud account.

I've got a library of tech books that all except this one have the same problem. That is, trying to find the solution to your issue within the book. With this book it's easy to find an answer to whatever your inquiry is, with a very detailed index and table of contents. Instructions are detailed and clear to understand. My iPhone is a 6S, but the data in the book is equally applicable.

A very simple easy guide for learning about the I Phone 6. It helped me get to use it properly very quickly.

OK for total beginners, or maybe seniors, but little in the way of detailed solutions.

Product was a present for elderly relatives but arrived with pages chopped short and upside down. Replacement sent and is fine but first one cannot be located as one of them has Dementia and has put it somewhere so now I am to be charged for 2 when one is faulty. I am very disappointed! It can't be the first complaint of this nature on this product!
