MyPurMist Hands-Free Accessory for MyPurMist Classic Handheld Vaporizer and Humidifier Device (Plug-in)

As background I've had two sinus surgeries for various things and live in Denver Colorado. With the altitude and low humidity bloody noses are common place. When I lived in London I had plenty of humidity and my nasal problems almost went away so I figured this would be a good investment and I was right. I used it twice a day for a full cycle and after about two weeks I went to once a day. It's great. It has helped open things up, reduced swelling and avoid the bloody nose. It's part of my regular routine, no mess, no fuss and to me it's part of my calming down before bed. It's very quiet for what it is. Worth the money, especially if you've been trying other things to combat sinus issues.

Works as it is designed for.

I had to stop taking my decongestant and antihistamine due to my enlarged prostate. I bought this as I thought it would help with sinus congestion. I think I get some relief from the steam but I also take Flonase and Singular. I use this product twice a day: at night before bed and around noon at work. I think it does provide some benefit but not as much as they market the product. It is well made and easy to use. They must have done a lot of field testing before putting it on the market. I use the highest setting on the steam and it provides a good supply of steam for about 20 minutes. Expensive but well manufactured. Only complaint is the cap on the reservoir leaks. They could have used a tighter seal for the cap. If you need a product like this that provides steam I think you would be hard pressed to find a more efficient one.

I have had a rough time with sinus infection for years now. I have used a netty pot with no real results. I have been given inhalers to use, which I still use in combination with mypurmist. I will say this, with just using the inhalators I was not getting the results that I have had with the Mypurmist. I was to the point of being so short of breathe that at times I thought I should call 911. I have had mypurmist for about a week and a half and have been using it three times a day. I can breath so much better. My right nostril has always been slightly closed (perhaps a polyp), anyways it's open enough for me to get a good amount of air in my inhaling. I was also to the point that when I laid down at night I had to put three pillows under my head just to be able to sleep, now I use one and I can sleep soundly. I can't say enough about Mypurmist. The price seems like a lot, but when I started to get results, I now say that it is worth every penny of it. So it is only natural to want to be hands free. so I just ordered the hands free kit. The only thing I will say that I did differently was to stop using the demineralized water that came with it, it had an odor to it, so I now use distilled water.

This product is useless and doesn't work as shown on picture. First off, no refunds is terrible. I should have read the reviews first. The hands-free doesn't even fit the device properly and what's ridiculous is the strap isn't even designed properly to have the right leverage to keep the device on face. The device always tilts forward off of my face unless I jut my head out and stick my chest up to keep it from falling off. Absolutely poor design.

Does a reasonable job of what they claim. Nothing to write home about and nothing extra-ordinary. For those that suffer from allergies or congestion due to illness this adds a very usable tool to the tool box (as long as you can stomach the over the top price gouging) It is a good size, self cleans by drying itself completely (in cycle use) and has sufficient capacity for a single use (without having to reload the water reservoir). The face piece is serviceable, but cheaply made. The optional "hang from you neck bag" accessory is even more massively overpriced and completely unnecessary as it doesn't offer any significant ease of use. (and is a complete **pass** for all but those who need to accessorize or DIE!)

The hands free accessory works well and allows me to read or work on my computer while clearing up my sinus.. I use the product every day for my sinus problem and it works wonders. Easy to use, non-messy and clears up my congested nose quickly. Also, the best customer service department that I have interacted with. They are friendly, responsive and dedicated to having satisfied customers. Heartily, recommend this product if you have sinus problems.

It works !!! A few seconds and it's already warm. It's not too heavy so I have no problem putting it around my neck when I'm on the computer. At first I was a bit surprised by the small noise because I thought it would be silent but you stop noticing after 1 minute so it's okay. I't kinda annoying that you can only put distilled water to not break it. I'm not in america so shipping MyPurMist water is waayyyyy too expensive. So I order it locally and test it for conductivity to be sure it's really distilled water. I wish it would be less expensive because at this price I will only buy it once every 5 years. So hopefully it's durable. If it breaks after 3 month I'll be pissed and come back here to change the review ;) To those living in switzerland. Yes it supports swiss 230 voltage. But you will need to buy an US to swiss adapter.
