What is the suggested application amount per woody plant?

I go for diversity so I mix half and half or so with plant success granular and sprinkle some in each hole along with my compost at planting time. I realize it’s not scientific at all but it seems to be showing results. My wife says I’m making things grow too well🤣😂🤣. I’m sure my compost is part of it.
