Does what a watch needs to do: time, day, and date. Yes, there are additional functions, but who really needs them? Controls are simple and straight forward, face is easily readable, and there is an easily accessed light for reading the time in low-light situations. Past experience with Casio watches predicts good reliability.

I picked up the Casio F-108WH on a whim, and honestly, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. The watch is super lightweight and comfortable, but still feels tough enough to handle everyday wear and tear. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and I love that it has all the basics covered—alarm, stopwatch, 12/24-hour format, and even the day and date. The LED backlight is surprisingly bright and makes it easy to check the time at night. Best part? The battery lasts around 7 years, so I don’t have to worry about changing it anytime soon. For the price, you really can’t beat the reliability, durability, and classic Casio style this watch delivers.

This is the best watch I’ve ever bought. 8 months and still going strong! For the price it’s an incredible buy. I’d spend $100 on this easily. I’m a woman and the watch fits perfectly without the band being awkward. Usually prefer Roman numerals but the switch to this face was comfortable and not irritating. Love the orange light to illuminate the screen. Love that you can adjust the date by day of the week and number, adjust the time down to the second, and tells pm from am. Is light weight. Minimal wear despite wearing 24/7. Only 1 scratch and I bang my wrist into stuff all the time lol. Will buy this watch until they stop making it. Photo was taken at time of review.

Nice watch, good design, very easy to program, basic date time functionality, light weight and easy to read.. I have many Casio, this one is basic but real nice, brightness and size are perfect

I have a seven and a half inch wrist And it seems to fit perfectly the watch does have a plastic buckle instead of a metal one but that's no problem it has a little ratcheting system that keeps the band in place. I think the band is a really comfortable fit but it is just a little bit stiffer than my G-Shock band. It is everything you need in a simple package and it is retro looking which is cool. I shower with it everyday I wash my hands every day and I work out with it at the gym everyday not a single problem

Band size: 18mm If you can only have one watch, this is the watch I'd pick. It keeps very accurate time and can last decades of abuse, wear and water. You can also polish the face and shroud with abrasive toothpaste or fine compound if you get scratches over the years that build up. This is what every watch should be. Simple, easy to use, affordable and reliable. I've washed this in the shower, sink and worn it in the rain and have never had water ingress. I wouldn't recommend swimming every day with it or anything, as water CAN evaporate into the housing, but it's fairly easy to disassemble to clean and dry. Here are the cons: - Get yourself a better watch band. The one that it comes with will degrade from skin oils over the years and eventually break. I prefer fabric straps like nylon bands or hook & loop. - Be careful about storing or using this in temperatures below 30F / -1C. I like it really cold in my bedroom and sometimes the watch can reset at these temperatures. When warmed by your wrist, it can still happen on occasion in very cold environments, such as when riding a bike in cold weather. Keep your wrist covered in those kinds of conditions.

Good watch, came as described and easy to program. I have small wrists and had to cut off some of the tail to keep it from flapping around, but good if you have larger wrists as it’s very adjustable. I bartend and it’s survived a few months of daily dishwater and getting hit on bottles with only a couple minor scratches on the face. For $20 it looks nice and I’ll happily replace it when it breaks.

Casio has been making a version of this watch for ages. It is legendary for its cost and durability. I bought it in red, and it looks fantastic. The red is a fire engine red. Its minimalistic and functional design appeals to me - like the notches in the case to keep buttons from being accidentally pressed. The battery lasts for about 7 years. Setting the date and time is very easy to do - if you have owned a digital watch in the past you may not even need to read the manual. I decided a while back that I really didn't need a smart watch, and this basic watch fits my needs perfectly.
