Kato's model of the N700A Shinkansen train captures the aura of these spectacular trains very well. It has flush windows, beautiful mouldings and paintwork and runs quietly and smoothly from slow to fast. White lighting at the front and red at the rear change with direction of travel. Imitation Scharfenberg couplings click together with careful pressure (when sitting on the track) and they can be separated again by carefully pulling apart. The realistically long overhangs at the ends can, however, bump into items close to the track, so the first run on your layout should be done slowly for safety! This set (10-1174) has 1 powered coach, 2 end (driver's) coaches and 1 unpowered coach. There is 1 pantograph with its streamlined air shields. Other sets can be bought to extend the set to the 16 coaches of the original together with interior lighting.

This is a nice model train. A bit pricy but if you really like trains, well you will def love this little beauty! A bullet train is a must for a collector! I wouldn’t have paid that much had it not been a very specific wish list but he is super happy and that’s all I could ask!

室内灯付けようと思ってボディを外し、また取り付けるときけっこう難しいですね。固くて、初心者じゃなくても少し苦労すると思います。ボディが上手くはまらないんでしょう。塗装はすべて問題無いと思います。ピカピカです艶があり、本物さがとてもあります！車両と車両の連結部分が以前よりも簡単な感じになっていて、連結しやすくなったことは良いと思います。しかし、連結部分の上の部分に隙間があるので、全体がしっかり連結されるようにして欲しいです。(KATO`に対しての要望。購入した人ならわかると思います。)気にしなければ良いだけですけどね。実際あまり目立ちませんので、ご安心を。参考までに写真のせておきましょう。添付写真連結部分の隙間、先頭車両
